Next step on the Mini ATV Build! Last video we built the suspension which included a completely custom rear swing arm as well as lengthening the front A arms making this thing have an aggressive stance. Now we've added a power plant: an electric start Tillotson 212 from GoPowerSports! We did a mild build on it by swapping the cam for a Hot265 cam, adding supporting mods such as a billet rod. We also installed a side exit header pipe and RLV muffler as well as a 22mm Mikuni Carb. As always, the links to all the parts we used are down below!
Thank you guys for watching and be sure to stay tuned for the next step of the build, where we do some metalwork to make this thing look like a stunt ATV!

So in the last video we did all the suspension things of this thing to really get at how riding how we wanted to so now. It's time for the finishing details. We have this electric start: Tillotson II from go power, sports that we're gon na do a kind of my little donger and put a cam in it, and the new rod. Tillet ins - are pretty powerful off the box.

So really, if we just have a cam, will be good there, so we're gon na do things like that. We're gon na mount of our handlebars are going to make a rear brake all those things. So, let's just get started by building this engine. So, let's break it off Phillips into 12.

Here nothing quite beats fun, wrapping a new crate engine, especially when to the Tillotson to 12 in there wow. That is pretty guys all powder-coated up. We just pulled our to 12 e out of the box and it's really amazing i'm definitely way better than a harbor freight motor on and just bang for your buck. You know, good it looks out of the box is something else.

So here's what we're gon na do to make it kind of kick a little bit harder. We have a Hopf, 265 cam and in a supporting model, make sure we don't blow up our engine. We have an AR seat, billet rod as usual, we're running a mikuni carved with an air filter and then a top plate and our lb muffler, so pretty straightforward, build the fact that we've taken this thing out of the box. It's never been run.

It's really gon na help us because we're not gon na have to worry about draining fluid or anything. So, let's just start taking off our gas tank air filter and exhaust Carla. Now we got ta yank these out, so we just installed our a RC billet rod. Pretty simple: now I got to find the right sockets and get our torque wrench and took this sucker down.

Billy rod is torqued to 65. Can this in now we're gon na put on our side cover again and hopefully we're closing this up. For the last time. I want we just finished up the engine.

You got the top plate on here, header, pipe mikuni carb, all that stuff. We just got to fill it up with some oil. So now, what I'm gon na do is we're gon na mock up our torque converter and then see if our engine plates in the right location and if it all checks out we're going to weld it in engine plate is just tactic. But I want to do our first test run on the frame itself, but the problem is before I can weld and then deploy.

I need to make sure the torque converter is going to be on the line up in the rear sprocket. So the problem is based on how this engines setup with the frame and things that this standard, GOPAC torque converter, is going to be a little too big. So I'm just going to kind of cut off some of this extra place: extra metal, it's not for any support. It's just there for looks and formatting the side cover, but once it's gone then we should be able to fit the torque converter in perfectly Hey spent a little bit since you film, this thing kind of a busy accumulating a bunch of junk to get that running.
But so what we're onto now is basically, we need to weld up and everything in the back and front here, and then the one little frame modification we have left is, if you can see right there, how the frame comment is in the way of where the Chain needs to go, so all I'm gon na do is just kind of cut this section out and move it further back here. So it's kind of like it'll be a little ugly, but it'll be underneath the torque converter. You don't really see it and that's just there, so the chain isn't going to be hitting and then once that's out of the way we're going to be free of interference all right. So I'm taking a look at this chain here and I think that's about as good as we're gon na get you can see.

All I did was kind of inverted where, but you can hardly see a map that goes in torquing we're, but basically now the bottom chain will not hit whatsoever. That's exactly what we want so now we're gon na take this thing apart, weld everything up and then get it back together and get it ready to run so a little ahead of myself. Oh, I forgot. We still hadn't found up a brake mount yet no such so.

This is kind of proud of it. Actually it took about an hour to make cuz. I don't know any specialty tools but turned out good. I mean for what I got so I'm kind of fits just right up in here.

So now what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na press the brake on the spot that I think it fits well and then weld it up. It's welded up everything. The rear is completely assembled up, and now I'm just putting the fronted what we did is you can adjust the rate of these Springs by turning this little silver part. So we turned it to full stiffness, because this thing would have bottomed out before so we're going to try that out, keep it here yeah.

So we got all the suspension stuff back on bolt it up and, as you can see or not, have any problems bottoming out. It's a lot stiffer now and it's still got a ton of flex. So now we're gon na put the engine on here. Put some more stuff up, so we can hear it run.

I saw what I'm doing now is I'm putting on our go power. Sports gold, pre-stretched racing train. This stuff is amazing. We're not gon na try to drive it in this vid, but I kind of just wanted it there.

So we can see how this thing's gon na look, but we got the gas tank and the engine in so now we're gon na do once I get this chain on is just try to fire it up nice job, the engine build Daniel, okay, it Scott yeah, Shot a big old flame and stuff: that's cool, let's America, the graduation okay looks like an RC car. Doesn't it so a ton of stuff went down in this video and it's just sitting on this thing right now, I'm so excited to ripped it huh. This is really, unlike anything, we've ever built um, but I really do think there could be quite the following: that's kind of converting these little kids, eighty beasts and the monsters because they're just so cool it reminds me a little RC car, especially with our built electric Starter Tillotson on there from go power sports along with all the parts you can go pirates for so be sure to check them out we're gon na links in the descriptions we couldn't do any of the stuff we do without them. So thank you, your power sports.
So in the next video we are going to be ripping this thing. This thing does need some help cosmetically, so countless adding some awesome bars and side steps. We really want to make this thing. Look like a stunt ATV, so stay tuned for that, thanks for watching see you next time you.

You shouldn't use vise grips to take your carburetor stud bolts out, you should use 2 nuts and lock them together, that's the best and proper way to do it.

FCould you please recrop your intro? Half of your clips are cutting your heads off. If you’re going to use cinematic bars then readjust the clip lower so the subject is in frame. Send me your clips and I’ll do it for you.
