DG Aluminum Silencer - http://www.dgperformance.com/motorcycle-exhaust.php?pyID=831 **
Today the rotary rips for the first time! This rotary go kart is powered by a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle and is a complete monster for this small go kart frame! In order to get this thing driving we needed to add some more bracing and fabricate a custom exhaust for it. While it doesn't seem like much, it took us hours to get everything working properly and doing its job. With this, we took it to a really cool spot and we were able to properly thrash on the go kart and burn some fuel and rubber!
Thanks for watching and be sure to stay tuned for the rest of this build!

Time can never be your trusted friend or your sworn, and I know it's their harshest. Mistress of all in life is just a change. A woman spent a thousand hello, what's going on guys Daniel here with bill. Brick repeat today we're driving this thing.

Finally, so it's a couple more things: we need to get done, so we don't talk over this frame and there's a lot of bullets and stuff that need be tightened. So this engine is really big and kind of all off to the side here. So we need to do a bunch of gusting to these brackets and all of that we also need to make an exhaust our friends at DG Performance Exhaust hooked us up with this aluminum silencer. The links are going to be in the description we love working with DG super high quality products, and I mean with a muffler as restrictive as this thing is: it's gon na probably shoot flames like crazy, be super loud.

So don't worry about missing any of that rotary sound, so we got a lot of work to do with the majority of this. Video is going to be ripping this thing, so let's just get right to work. Okay, both of our engine exports in yeah, she's beefy. So we just it's the sports cars here, one there.

This is also gon na help protect this against the clutch. In case anything bad happens there, and this our one back mount is now super strong, and this this triangulation will help hold it. This side, which has no other support, so let's get to weld it okay, so we finished up all the welds and the last bit of fabrication. We have are all these pedal Stoppers, so I just kind of took a piece of metal and made it match the existing stopper already on the cart and when this will die right up there and if I woke up, we may have floor pan.

So it looks good, so we bent up this basically 1 inch exhaust and where we wrapped into just because rotaries get really hot and then this is a flange. It's big enough to slide in the DG muffler. So we bolted on this chain cover beside the exhaust on and we can hear what it sounds like with the new system moment of truth. We got that DG pipe on there.

Looking real nice, we have all the wiring down all the fuel system done, so we're just gon na start her up and do one quick check welcome to nowhere. It's a proper playground for ripping this thing. Let's get to work he's hardly moving. I love it today, like the just experience itself is instant like hearing the rapid next to you and like it's really like first gear super fast, I mean I did have some trouble shifting it.

It kind of like doesn't want to get into gear all the time, but, like other than that, like super super like speechless we're in the echo tunnel time to exceed what any human ears should have to hear yeah for me to drive this puppy a lot of Time went into this, so I'm super psyched, I'm fine, we're just listening to it. I'm kind of scared of this thing. To be honest, so, let's see what happens. Oh yeah he's way out there a little solo all right guys.

Thank you so much for watching this. Thing's, an absolute beast: we're starting to skip the chain a little bit, so I'm gon na probably call it a day and I'm getting a little too excited kind of beating the crap out of this thing, so it sounded cool it come back. Another time we got to take this thing to a track. We got to figure out the top speed.
This is a huge freaking lot, but we cannot even do it justice guys. I hope you like this location, we're probably not gon na - be able to go here too often cuz, it's kind of off the grid for us, but thank you guys for watching, if you guys made it this far. If you remember seeing some of the early videos of us not even knowing how to work on this rotary at all, you should definitely subscribe we're almost at the 100k. If we could get there, that'd make us so proud all the hard work we have into this thing.

I mean we really pulled out all the stops with editing and everything on this video. So thank you guys so much. This could not be possible without you. Ant, go Powersports, see you next time.

Tell me where to buy one of these engines. Willing to drive a ways , live in the northeast.

That is an awesome cart. Pretty dang fast. Definitely want to see a turbo and fuel injection system. It will truly be at its quickest acceleration and highest performance at that point once the tune has been optimized.

Builds rotary kart. Never goes above 40% throttle. That things power band is between 5000-10000rpm…. It has yet to see it.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Milton Gimenez says:

Should get an efi fuel injection and an arm wideband for fine tunning and possibly a digital dash that can read rpm and speed using gps

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Paulo F. says:

not impressed, it's just too under power and heavy

So cool! My OCD really wants you guys to clean and detail/paint some more of the details on the kart. I mean the thing is really trick, it deserves it! And! YOU NEED TO GO TO A KART TRACK!!! Do it!

bro i dont think that the frame is going survive for a long time as the engine is 294cc and ur frame looks like it can handle 230-260cc at max

Looks and sounds good. Not much ripping. Dont be scared

If you can find a drag strip that would let you on, a 1/8 & 1/4 mile run would be great to see.

This is ok BUT think about the people that had that engine in an motorcycle. My god the sounds are amazing!

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Funke House says:

Sick build! It seems like it could go even faster, a lot faster but youโ€™re running out of track at that place, you need to find a place with some large open spaces and I bet that thing will blow your mind! Those things love to Rev, so let them Rev!!!

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars aj200415 says:

Only thing I have to say is…where is the fucking turbo?

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MrHillfolk says:

    thats horrifying……..
    thats determination!!

You need to further mod the exhaust. Put a sc project muffler on it. Itโ€™ll sound more like a beast than a beast letting out a big butt rattling fart. Lol. That thing rips up the concrete. Great build guys.
