We got around to painting the Mini ATV and adding some netting for our feet! We used the same Massey Ferguson Grey tractor paint that we used on the Deuce, so they’ll match when we rip them together. The final product looks killer and we can’t wait to do some more ripping with this thing. Thanks to Gopowersports for all of the parts we used on this build, links below!
Thank y’all for watching and be sure to stay tuned for the next step of the build!

So hope y'all enjoyed the last two videos where we kind of just rip this thing and put a juggernaut Drive a pulley on it, but now it is time to finally just wrap up this build. So what that's going to include is we're gon na paint. It, of course, I'm gon na paint the same color that our Mako deuce was painted. That way, we kind of have matching like off-road buddies, so that's to be really cool, but before we get to that, there's a couple more things we need to do.

We got a little light bar right about here and it's the perfect width to just kind of fit right in the front here so Nestle's in very nicely, with our front bars and then also we've been meaning to do this for a while. But we've kind of put it off to didn't know how to do it, but I think we have a good idea now. This is basically just like ATV netting, so the idea is, your foot will be able to sit in the middle here because before we get have to ride it off to the side, super excited for that stuff. So before we get to the metalwork, we want to take off all our nice engine parts, so they don't get all messed up so we'll strip this thing down, basically to the frame alone, and then we can start on our metal work.

Okay, so swing in this thing is pretty easy and it's a disassembling. The rest is this assault acting pretty simple: we just used some flat stock and in one of the Amazon tabs, so finished welding it all up, and I will move on to making our back suspension a little bit stiffer good learning experience. Our shock was a little binding and we wanted to move it, so our pivot point was further from the axis of rotation. That way, it was a little less spongy in the back, because at top speed it kind of bounced a lot and kind of throw off our center of gravity.

So what we're gon na do is just retag this up and hopefully we'll have that perfect ride quality. Again, yes, we just finished it and like previously, we had some problems with the little wings would hit the ground and stuff, but now it kind of feels a similar front back and when you're sitting on it, it's pretty much level. Yes, baby. We fixed it yeah.

This that alright, so we just both of all these brackets, we have the rels - are a little ugly because everything was galvanized, but it looks really nice and the netting fits in a super. Well, in the background here, we're gon na just have to add one more piece of strap, but all in all, this thing is actually really strong already, even with just staples and it's definite going to hold our feet and make it a lot easier to ride. So this one is finally done so with that we're done with all the welding we just gon na finalize some of the bottoms of these wells and then disassemble it and we'll get interesting. So we've sanded and prepped all parts right here that are all going to be black going over here, we're gon na.

Do our gray, Massey Ferguson, gray tractor paint yeah blowing this that's gon na match the deuce over there. We did with that. It was a pretty good result and it's really tough. So let's get the payment first strokes of paint going on mm-hmm.
It's really nice coverage. You get with this stuff dries super thick. It levels out pretty good after a little bit of time. As you can see, I'm the deuce it holds up pretty well sweet got some painting to do Picasso with it.

It's gon na look good y'all, see like a freaking fighter. Jet paints been going on really nice. I can't wait to see this thing and the deuce out at once, yeah cut that battleship gray, hmm fleet going on be cool. It is so I think, we'll get this finished up, let her dry and it will see you tomorrow.

We have everything: that's gon na be painted black right here, mainly the suspension, swing, arms and handlebars. So, let's get painted so it's the next day. The bottom drive pretty well and we prep the top and now we're just coating it with some paint yeah. Oh, I can't wait to see this thing in grey.

I think it's the best color it's looking very promising, but in that box we have all the other parts that are going to be black spray-painted all done so once this is dry, we'll be ready to assemble it really, then, on the last stretch of painting we're Just getting the spots I think covered enough, but I got ta say the final look. It's it's gon na be really cool. Okay. We just finished up the paint on this thing and it looks incredible.

It looks like a little fighter jet the white wheels. Look amazing. So now what we ought to do is just reassemble the time, so, let's get so a little bit jump forward in time, but we've got the engine in the light bar in the chain hooked up pretty much everything's mounted on this thing, yeah for our netting on Our nerf bars, which is still to show up she, looks sick, though yeah really impressed with this one one that done, and so now that it's finished when you just look my mediocre sewing skills can hold up the weight of a person all right, I think you've Been anywhere it feels pretty sturdy. It looks really good yeah, let's see all right, that's my weight! Oh yeah, all day, I don't even hear any ripping noises.

Oh now that you did you everything I can put all my weight on it yeah. It's fine! All right! Cool, so now, what we'll do this job's got to do the other side, and I think that's gon na wrap up this vid. So I'm just tying up the last couple loose ends on this thing on the bottom and it holds weight which is a great sign and want to see how it holds up. But for now we're pretty much done all right, so that is going to wrap up this video.

I love the net. I love how this thing looks. I'm really excited to get out there and ride it. So, thank you guys so much for watching this thing made an awesome transformation, be sure to drop a like.

If you like how this thing looks and be sure to stay tuned, because we have a lot of rippin to do this thing, we wouldn't make it match to do so well and then not drive them both together, so stay tuned. For that we'll see you next time.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars one4x4nut says:

Looks good. But you really should've welded a tube in from the frame to the nerf bars that way you actually had a something to stand on. Plus your heal should rest against the nerf bar and keep your foot from sliding off sideways.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Iron Mike says:

Scrap the webbing and use expanded metal mesh, your ankles will thank me later.

Can you tint that paint? I want want paint my truck but it was baby blue then put in primer buy my farther in-law and my wife will not let me change the color but it is starting to a few small rust spot. The color of her daddy truck and all the memories growing up with it can change it but I’d like to give it a good coat of paint. I have used the black then clear coated it and looks awesome. But the primer has a blue tint to it.

Awesome build and it looks like so much fun

Stay safe guys.Several college kids in our home town got the virus(nicknamed by me as coovies) to be YouTube safe.I hope you didn't got to a spring break thing(i.e.Florida beaches) like the others did.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Randys work shop says:

Hey guy's. I don't know if I would use webing for a place to put your foot. If you go over a bump and it lines up with the neting, It's going to be the same as jamming your heal into the ground at what ever speed your going. 20mp 35mp. Just saying. Love your videos .

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Simpson says:

the straps i would of rapped other the tube then pop riveted them in place

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tampa Boys Customs says:

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars digital jake says:

liking the color. needs foot pegs. you cant ride like that. . if you want more race atv look put some wide tires on the back.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars DetroitMicroSound says:

I would stand on pegs. I can picture an ugly spill with just the webbing.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Will Young says:

Put a washer on each side and put a pop rivet through the webbing at each junction. 😉
