Dumpster fire engine build gets swapped onto a mini atv!
In this video we swap the engine we made out of spare parts onto a free kids atv frame for less than $30 worth of parts we actually had to buy. Putting the predator 212 harbor freight engine onto the mini atv was a pretty easy job, all we needed to do was weld on a go power sports engine mount plate and run a chain. We had to do a slight tune up on the brakes and the steering but after that we had a really fun time ripping it around and trying not to hurt ourselves!
Thank you guys for watching and be sure to subscribe to see the rest of this thing!

All right, um, I remember the bill we did with this engine with the Mitsubishi head and just like all the random parts we have lying around and we made a running engine so in the spirit of budget builds. We got this thing for free from a friend of mine. His name is Julie enough of this Instagram right here and you just have it lying around. They took a little kids at you TV with this like dinky, like I don't even know, 90 cc motor.

We did try a little bit to get the engine running. Go girl, you care about it, how much so far we good! Is there any throwing this engine this cheap engine off of this free ATV we're going ot full budget style on this thing, so should be really fun. The first thing we're gon na do is start completely disassembling. This atv take the motor off.

It has a gas tank and all of that stuff, so this should be a pretty easy, install beauty. Maybe we'll use this on something, maybe that it's kind of dinky actually really geeky. It's not there's no gears or nothing we did buy it. I did buy like a $ 15 wiring harness to see if we get a running.

Couldn't then just barring the spark on starter fluid, so we're just giving up on it. But look at this look at how beautiful the place literally just like this was made for go powers for attention plate. So I ain't gon na smock a predator in here and see what happens. The first thing we ought to remove is this old engine mount because it here with them new one, let's chop that out books actually fits perfectly.

Look at that yeah yeah I'll, be easy. Do miss my timing tree all right, yeah, okay, so we got lucky. We found this at our shed in the backyard he's kind of a hoopty, honey or river, what this is aqua and he gets originally the tater typical current, which we own for like two weeks and built. But it looks like the bolt pattern is just right, for this only problem is this is like about the same size as a tire, so we're gon na be scrape and some sprocket on the ground, but I mean every this chains old.

Everything on this is old, so well eventually, this is pretty fun. We might put some Big Daddy tires on there, but for now we're just gon na run like this old sprocket. It's actually pretty nice axle. I mean it's very dinky, but we're not running a torque converter or anything already.

This one's actually a little bit bigger, but I think I think, if we drill so if we Center this with the hub and then drill for neon like right along here about the center this, but like we just drill some holes here, then we'll be able to Bolt up with this factory hub in the camera. No me all right. Thanks, run two bolts question alert now. Will this drill is out it'll, be fine, he's doing catchphrases over here kid all right, so we did a pretty good job.

With this, the will seems fairly centered. So that's awesome. This thing is going to be a torque monster. I mean like it's going to be so easy.

Hopefully we can we let this thing easily. I have a feeling it is going to be so, let's start the nut on and the cotter pin back in, but this is exciting, pretty easy. Okay, now we're just mucking. This up looks like the engine plate is so it does, is yeah, so we're trying to figure out is we need to align our sprocket here with the sprocket on this is a jack shaft kind of torque converter.
Looking thing from the the Coleman CT: 200 Coleman is a mini, Baja mini bike, so this has reduction in it and we've got this massive sprocket on it. So this thing's actually bugging you pretty slow, but it's trying to have tons of torque. We will apply many hills and stuff of this. Both trick of the trade use, a straight edge line it up with your sprocket and then that's, not bad.

Okay, it's pretty money and then also like, don't get it to worry about angles, because there's always some wiggle room and these go Powersports into place, anyways, so we're. This is a good position where an attacker. We got the chain locked up and I mean we got some wiggle room in the plate and then the suspension, when it flexes will not hit anything and yeah everything great doesn't loose five. This is pretty easy inside guys.

If you have these ATVs sitting around spend $ 20 on an engine plate spend $ 100 for air or just get one other parts. You have probably a total of like $ 30 into this. So far, so yeah threw you the body on the handlebars on line. It's coming together pretty nicely yeah.

Let's say: price gets it to the body on forever really held on by nothing, but farad look a little bit better, a little more like an ATV, so the brakes were pretty bad and we started trying to bleed them, and we noticed there was some mystery substance. Old brake fluid jelly bone of a deep baby disgusting, five stars right there, so we get all that out and then we're just gon na wash out the whole system with great food. They probably set got some water in it. So it doesn't look the prettiest, but we used this little engine top plate that we had lying around.

I did up the hammer it kinda to get the right angle for this, and then this is the throttle set up from the Mitsubishi engine. So then I just use the stock little Mitsubishi connector and then it's like actually one of the best throttles we've ever done on a predator. I get super easy. It springs back with just as one spring, there's no like Springs everywhere, and it mean full idle.

Full throttle. Super simple cutting our chain, the lengths that our go pirates towards chain breaker, highly recommend buying one of these. It's a tool, you'll use a lot. It saved us so much time the exhaust yeah, I think we're gon na we're gon na, do something like this make a hanger right here that way, we kind of a dad.

It's like a straight up and out of the way exhaust we're actually using the factory. Like hundred CC muffler, so we'll see how that sound to the predator co-direct, we filled up all the tires and the stock throttle. You see that, but the whole aisle both yeah. Actually, this toilet started.
It has more of like a super budget kind of hack thing. Just throwing this engine on, but this is actually really really solid. I think we actually kind of took our time. I guess - and it looks really good some of the days we don't know how the throttles gon na hold up for sure brakes are blood.

They look awesome. I don't know how this old sprockets gon na do, but it should do great and I'm really curious to see how the 2:12 sounds of this month, where this thing's basically back to normal. It's really late right. Now, though, so we're going to Morrow really good the engine, this kind of fits right in there.

I do the little cut for the throttle, but huh she's pretty sleeper. Alright, we lied we're gon na, do it today, it's actually. We have a new camera and it's actually really good low light. So here goes nothing, it's so quiet so easy! Oh! Thank you really.

First, this is annoyed holy cow, this thing's, so it's so small. All inside we got to sit on their biggest nine-year-old. There is the nine-year-old our hormones. Oh, he called so this kind of solid it feels really 50 part and the top speed is terrible.

Look at star viscosity watch it. I like it. How it is. I mean this thing's super that we're fun.

I love how quiet it is and how small it is, but also it's like it's really tippy, which I guess is good free feeling off-road, but for on-road, Taron road ahead things, not the best top feet is really bad. What I mean does it need to go faster, though, is always better, but I mean it's a blast and I mean once you start wheeling it I'd rather really on grass sit on concrete, but once you start wheeling it, this thing's gon na be fun how's. This engine soon running, I know they just like, like a cloud for like a slow under power. Wait there's a black.

It's like you know, like he's bobbing side to side, is there the tires and stuff you really four-wheeler? Okay, yeah look at this and then for wheelies, though yeah it's pulling to the left. That's a flatter tire! Oh really watch their pull. When I come, Oh mother, all right well, well, that's gon! Na click glue this guy's um. It was really fun.

This thing has a lot of potential. I mean it really is very easily the tide and get to dry out that much so it seems pretty cool, so I think that's going to wrap it up for this episode. Thank you. Go Powersports yeah this fun.

I can't believe this engine ran. This is a one-day build. We literally came up with the idea, tore it all down bolted everything up and now we're here so kind of crazy, but I think it's a fun little project hope you liked. This video tell us what you think in the comments and we're trying to think of some cool of paint schemes.

So let us know thanks for watching and share subscribe, see you later.

I was thinking on doing a similar idea with my old three-wheeler since NOS parts are hard to find and I don't want to destroy the original engine in it. Of course I'd have to find a way of adding in an engine plate that doesn't involve frame cutting because that's one thing I won't do is cut into it. As for your brand of engine, You should call it a Hondabishi Carnivore. 😛
