After revitalizing the Deuce in the last Episode, we needed to give it a proper rip and Daniel from DJ Tuning was kind enough to let us use his land again for testing purposes. We drove it around and put some hours on the new shifter setup which worked great. We also took it on some medium sized jumps and ended up bending the driver’s side J-arm. When we got the kart, it was already bent so it didn’t take much force to bend back into shape. We put it on the lift and reinforced it with some angle iron so hopefully we won’t have the same problem.
Thanks for watching, stay safe and stay tuned for the next video!

Oh, hey guys so we're back here at daniel's land with the deuce. We want to just kind of give it a torture test, make sure the shifter the brakes the chain everything's working really well before we try and take this thing to you know more extreme places. So yeah, let's just get right into it, yeah i'm excited to try this thing out: yeah, so hmm food! So me, oh wow, so so so i just drove this thing and it was pretty awesome. Um, it's actually feeling really solid.

Now so, first off the shifter. It's feeling really good. It got a little bit more, i guess vague, but i think that's just it kind of wearing into where it's going to be working. It doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem.

We're going to break the brakes are okay. I mean this thing's really heavy, so it's and it's also going really fast. So i'm not that surprised that they're not great, but they do stop. You and they'll help you stop.

So that's good um! I think the only real problem we have is the engine right now, it's not like idling or starting very well, but it does make full power at the top end, so we're gon na try and experiment with um, maybe taking off the fuel the pulse pump in The back maybe resyncing the carb stuff like that, but that'll be later yeah it it. It drives pretty good um. I like the shifter, i mean you just pull back and go into the next year and yeah it's pretty fast. I mean it rips all right guys, jump in.

Oh god, i saw my leg flash before my eyes that was kind of terrifying, all right guys. So we we looked at the footage of the last jump and i think i lifted at the top, so yeah disregard the part where i said i was scared for my life. I'm gon na try it again and try and stay in it the whole time and we'll see if it's better. I don't know that was sick yeah.

That was much better like something broke. Oh, that was actually a much better jump. We did land on the tires. This time um, i don't think this thing's meant for jumping, though we thought it was going to be kind of back heavy, but i don't know, but we did end up actually bending this tire out.

We think it's this arm that was damaged when we first got it. It was already bent way in so we think it just kind of re-bent back, but daniel has a big shop over there with a lift so we'll see if we can try and fix it. Another all right, so this isn't going to be the prettiest, but that'll be very strong with the help of daniel and his shop. We have this thing, basically back to where we started the j arm just got bent on that jump, so we straightened it out and we reinforced it with some angle iron and it's actually pretty great right now.

Another thing we did is we took the pulse pump off the back fuel system, and now it idles a lot better, so we're hoping that we won't be cutting out at high rpm or anything. If that's the case, then we know that we need to get like a bigger fuel line and a less restrictive petcock. So right now we're just going to test it and see how it does. This thing starts up way, better now, no throttle foreign and with that the deuce is pretty much in its final form.
As you see it now, there's a couple of minor things we have to do. We got to kind of straighten out that j arm a little bit more and we have to mess with the fuel system to get it to not break up at higher rpms. But it's definitely proven itself here and we can definitely take it to some harder trails. Maybe off-roading at a off-road park once again, thanks to daniel for helping us and letting us use his land, i definitely got more than he bargained for when he let us come out here, make sure you check out his channel at dji tuning we'll have a link In the description, thank you to go power sports for all the parts on this thing, uh.

Thank you to auxpin for the lights and as usual, parts down in the description thanks for watching and subscribe. If you haven't already.

Great job of getting an exiting coal burner running. Where's the electric kart? 🙂

That thing looks awesome! Hope you have lots of fun with it! Also don't be afraid to change your intro/outro. Some will have nostalgia for the old one but it ultimately is not a big deal.

something is not right about the sound or how it moves….but, super fuckin cool

I ride and work on a ninja 250, its probably the carb. The carbs very sensitive to gunking up on that engine. Just pull em and clean and rebuild. It'll start doing better. You can also drill out the carb adjustment screw blockers and manually tune her. A proper clean, tune and she'll fly. Remember she operates on vaccum, not positive pressure from the fuel tank. Pulse pump not necessary.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Simpson says:

i hope you plugged the vac line that ran the pump the way it was slow to drop in rpm seems to me like you have a air leak

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars PRINCIPLES OF PLEASURE MB says:

This thing on the street with street tires maybe a lil drop would be so sick 😍🔥🔥🔥

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Vermont Paint n Photo says:

kind of foolish riding around in a high speed cart with no helmet. think about the kids that watch you

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mr GMC631 says:

That thing would improve greatly with wheel spacers and real atv tires…. lil wider a lil taller with the atv wheels n tires and it would be beast …. for a 250cc atleast ….

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Schwab says:

is the gearing off? I had to ride a ninja 250 for my motorcycle class years ago to get my M endorsement. I know they're fairly gutless engines and I'm sure it's more weight than it was designed to power, but seems rather slow. I kept thinking it was just spinning the tires.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars 1hipcrip says:

It almost looks like you sped up the film speed like they used to do in old James Bond movie…

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mad-Duk Machine Werkes says:

The old intro????? YUCK! I liked the new intro the last video had-

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Elian Castillo says:

Awesome build but is it the camera that makes it look like it is slow or is it slow lol. Badass build.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars rydplrs says:

It almost sounded like you were bouncing off the rev limiter.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Justin Yates says:

It looks like it'll have no problem with big hills or anything the way its geared, but top speed is lacking a bit. Overall pretty awesome.

    Y’all a great channel don’t get discouraged

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Christopher Haynie says:

Really like the shifter and clutch combo. You all need to share that with carsandcameras.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wyatt Foster says:

Like how the Close Captioning says the engine sounds are "Music" and "Applause"

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars 3WheelSteve says:

Man that thing is loud! Sounds fast…but isn't haha. Still sweet.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Terry J says:

    That's a 250? It goes like it has a 79cc. Impressive sound.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BighomieJ5x - says:

If you guys are ever in the los Angeles area let me kno , I'll pay for a ride 😁😁

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Generous Degenerate says:

That thing needs a gearing change, bad. You go from nothing to out of the power band in less than 2 seconds. You blow through the bottom 3 gears just getting going and the engine isn't even trying.
You shouldn't be able to hit the Rev limiter without even feeling the torque.
It would be a whole new beast with a proper gear range.
