How to remove the governor on a Predator 212!

Last episode with the Go-kart build, we mounted the engine. So now it's time to give this thing a little bit more power. First, we're going to open this engine up. Here's what the inside looks like and that arm back there is the governor and that's what we're going to be removing.

Now under your gas tank, you'll find your Governor arm. You go ahead, remove this 10 mm nut. Now we'll go ahead and free the arm there so we can remove that, position the crankshaft and knock that sucker right out. Now we have to remove the governor gear back there.

plastic Governor gear out. Don't forget the little washer at the bottom as well next to seal up the hole from the governor arm. Use a/2 in Bolt thread that sucker in.

You can actually use a full inch bolt and runs up flush with the block! On the inside if you want! Both work
