MORE soldering
And I'm live again. Hello McFly Check. Check. Check one Two.
All right. another impromptu you live soldering session because why the heck not? Hopefully everything's working there. We go. Hey, showed up this time straight away.
Okay. Top chat, live chat, all sorts of Check. Pop it out. Jeff There we go.
Hello underscore. Yep. Chickadee. Do da check check Check I Assume the audio is good.
Somebody said turn it up yeah, but I am at a hundred percent already on both the windows setting I could use another mic, but whatever I think it's good enough? Just turn your volume up Guatemala Wow disrupting work? Sorry. Alright, I'm back into it. Let me tweet tweet I Gotta login. never go away.
All right. It's just tweeting that I'm live. Yep, there we go. No loop.
They're right. Where's my check on there? We go in like Flynn little soldering. Yes, it's loud enough. Good.
Alright, just have to talk louder. Alright so I'm back on this back back to the future. but through this advanced technology that I've got now I'll show you I've got Taniya look what I made I made a little fume extractor so I heard these ancient ones I can't touch it. otherwise all the black stuff falls everywhere.
anyway. one of these carbon filters I just had 120 millimeter fan I got out of my fan box and yeah, don't move it Dave and I put it there so if we put it right there, let's actually have a look and see how effective this thing is, shall we? And it was a bit. it's not the best fan and I just hooked up a USB thing to it. So it's a 12-volt fan but five volts so it's got a little pack here.
It still works at five Volts and it gives more than enough suction. Watch this. Alright starting up. You should barely be able to hear that.
in fact, my filtration system which is right next to me, my big one, my blue air filtration system. It's louder than this thing so let me know if you can hear that. So watch this. Watch it like let's let's put it a fair bit away.
Okay so it's only it's 12 volt fan. run into 5 volts, don't know where I got it from was just you know, a teardown thing. it was just in my junk and my junk box I have a box box so fans was then only hundred and so let's go like I'm I'm good 20 centimeters away from that. Now let's give it a bow.
leave that leave that all mice probably has to be good to 16 centimeters and that get fat I can still smell it. okay it gets most of it. It's not alright I think I need to yeah I think I need to close that end there off. It's not the best, but it does actually suck it straight across.
Maybe I need to put a couple of fielders on there. Unfortunately this corner here is broken off so cable time? Let me just get another cable time. Yeah, cuz I think it's all all scaping up through the top there. So maybe if I put that in place like that? There we go.
There we go. All right. So I got myself in a fairly quiet fan. so that's good.
Is it not all right? Why does it? Why's that on an angle? There we go. That's better. There we go. No. I Still on a dodgy angle we met. All right I Give me now that's not straight. There we go. that'll do alright.
Bit overexposed on my face. Yeah. I Got to yeah. yeah.
don't worry about it. I've got the lights aren't set up here I don't care, it's better. I got a box outside the window there I got one literally right next to me I'm touching it right here. We got it.
That's the. that's the studio lights just bouncing off the wall. Back down here, there's another one up there anyway. Um, alright.
soldering. so that fan will do do-it-yourself filter job' Bring that in there we go. All right. What are we go? 279 I'm not as many peeps as yesterday.
Yeah, it's just solder and again, he wants to see that rubbish. All right, what do we got? We got a 1, 3, 2. Sorry. here's our 1 3, 1, 3, 2.
Where's where's the 1 3 2. Oh hey. CT 32 Do there. it is does a 1 Alright, let's go back to the point.
9-millimeter soda. It's harder to get more consistent control on that GZ tips on these paces. they uh, they tarnish pretty quick. Get my steel wool Where there we go? All right.
Hold your breath, makes you fast and efficient. All right. Oh yeah, got that in the right way because I goofed up to stuff yesterday. Got the chippy in the runway.
These will be two, seven, two threes I believe because there's three of them and there's three of them left here. one two three. So I don't even need to look at those. Yeah, they are tier seven threes I think every single part on here is t I don't know why how many companies are making TT all these days it's anyone know.
Leave up Peru Start your own submarine ASMR channel Are you saying I'm too low? my the audio is too low. Is that? just turn the volume up your end I mean it's no rocket science? What? I A man am I rocking I'm rocking a pace ABS 200. Rather like it. it's not too shabby.
All right today. Okay here we go see that. Kind of yeah. You can see that we're all the over there.
Do you get your video with cluster right? Yeah. I'm gonna 303. Yeah three cuz I got the original one plus I've got the double-sided one night. sorry the full layer one I built plus.
well something just switched off on my monitors bloody screensaver. don't need screen savers anymore. we're not using Crts. Back in the day I published a project was that Electronics Australia was Electronics Today International I can't remember.
Anyway published a little thing that was a hardware screensaver hardware screensaver. it I can't remember the year was. Anyway, it tapped into the the what was it the port. Someone will tell me there was a port on the top of eg.
a or yeah see Jana or EGA cards the Eagle graphics adapter. There was a There was a connector on top and you could access that. It was a card each connector on top. Someone will tell me I missed a spot No I didn't and and you could actually I can't remember how you blinked to the screen from that but it was basically just a timer. I'm not sure if I used a triple fiver I get like a a really long time timer they set in hardware and it would. it would disable the pin. You could get power from the pin and everything. So I was a little box little dongle that you actually plugged into.
There to the guy was Visa connector I can't I can't remember I can't remember. but yeah yeah that was now. it's cool. So if you computer crashed your screensaver, it's still work is Flux.
Of course. This is like multi-core flight. This is like Five Five Core Flux doesn't tell you. Yeah, five core Five core flights is five cause Of Flux in this baby.
All right. Geez, they the joints look variable, don't they? And and they are. I Mean when you get a light shining off them at the right angle, some of them look dull. some of them look shiny.
Yeah, so lint-free rubbish. All right. Did anyone see Visa Feature connector? Yes I was right. It was the Visa.
it was the Visa Feature connector. Yep. Yep. I had it right.
Thank you. Electronic. Yep. The Visa Feature Connector: I Can't remember how, but there was some way I was able to force the screen to blink through that Visa feature connector.
Geez, really don't remember details. You know it's 25 years ago. Something long time ago. Galaxy? far, far away.
One three, eight, one, three Eight. once. right? Yes. Visa Feature Connector: What? What cards was that on? Was that like up to VGA cards? Or or what does anyone know know you can do drag soldering for through-hole I've shown that in a previous thing I Don't necessarily like doing it I Much prefer just doing the individual joints because it's much more satisfying.
Tell you what. this fan is working. A treat. Silent? Yeah, there's heaps of solder on that don't worry and it's I'll put a bit more on people complain.
Alright, and yeah, that one's got heaps. It doesn't look like it. It doesn't look like it. But trust me, that's got plenty of solder on it.
And it's It's all the way. It's just doesn't quite have a feel it on the top. It's all the way down the hall and it's hunky-dory Okay Oh use a bit less salt in Aaron It's not as consistent with the Point Nine telling you it is quicker. Sometimes it flows down the hall and sometimes it doesn't Yeah, angle a light makes it look good.
How are you doing? Jeez, wait, don't of it. Chisel tip: Focus is still bad. What focus on the camera focus is bad on the camera? MF Comparison: Yes, I'm going to do this. Yes, this is a four layer board with the ground planes on the outside.
so I'm going to go back and redo the other ones. Plus, at this one as like a there's a 3-way comparison that's a better than a three-way There's a not to roll in dip chips. try that, that'll be a 240. Willard Yep, that's a 240. Ah, they're never done yet. They must be buried away in the box. I Put them all in the correct. Yep, yeah, Thank you Machi Baby baby.
looks like a bit how you do on this ordering balls. Yes I know they're actually not as bad as they look. they're I'm it looks worse on camera. trust me, real wife here.
they're actually fine. There's no actual balls ie. a ball by that. Definitely.
Then there's a difference when I sold a ball on a joint and like just having and just applying too much like a dry joint, ball is like a different thing. like it hasn't taken to the pad so it like forms a ball on top and that's it. That's very different to just simply having too much solder on the pad. so this one's a good yet once stillage.
if you put too much solder on the joint, it can still be a fine joint. No problem. there has a stupid screensaver. again.
all right. USB Connector: Some chippies. All right. Oh this? Yes.
Ram woke up about three sets of this. Maybe I did have it in mind. Scoffs key, it's gone ski. What the heck are those doing in the box? My abacus.
Oh no, no, they don't in here. Alright. I'm coming up short here on the chips. it's Ram suck it.
Mmm. it's an extra room. Didn't eat it. Oh there there? Yeah.
I'm buried down under the corrugated cardboard of the digi-key thing. Cool. What's this? A No Four Five Nine Five. Love the Five Nine Five.
Oh that's a no for by deduction, this has to be the Five Nine Five. Like it when you get exact parts of everything like you order a kit from digi-key or Mouser or whoever phone else and you get a just get a complete kit of stuff and you know you've got the exact right number and blah blah. It's really good, a little bit more, a little bit more don't need it, shouldn't fuss. And of course, the thermal properties of these pads will be different.
depends if it's got like thermal leaves, if it's a power pen or whatever, then the pins can be bent in different orientations so your solder might flow differently for a given amount of time on the joint. Bla bla bla bla bla. Okay, there we go. Once again, some of them look really flat, like there's nothing in there.
but trust me, there is. Yeah, we guys see it looks more consistent when you get it at that angle. Right when when you have a light like that, looks fastly more consistent. Lights: A tricky, tricky business.
Solder joints Dry as a dead dingos? Dumber. That's it. Okay, yes, Ram yeah. In Australia it's either dry as a bone or it's dry as a dead dingos.
Done that. Take your pick. In fact, how damn limp we'll just drop to below 50% here in Sydney the desal plants working overtime and yeah, that's that's the trigger point I Believe like 50% damn is okay I definitely got that in the right way. Yeah yeah, cuz nobody spotted my back-to-front chip last night. Thank you very much I had to spot it myself I Always make life Pleasant Thank you very much. Rich Okay and I See, hang on, hang on. Just wondering if I used a socket for the SRAM last time. That would be annoying.
Yep, my worst fear come true. Okay, Yep. I got addy sold of that because there is a socket there we go. I've actually got a socket don't and I've got to have a consistent Then all the commenters will complain that all that board doesn't match the Yi and of course the EMC doesn't match because you don't have a socket for your SRAM And they're right because it changes the changes, the loop area of every single pin on that SRAM No come back there.
It's not like half Abi's deal or something but still you know have to get it right. Oh that's annoying cuz then I like I got the socket. all the pins will be okay. the pins will be okay.
the solder hasn't flown through to the other side there so there's only going to be solder. unlike the lower half of the pins when the end it's a it's a dual wipe one which is better because then you have if there. If it was a machine pin one like this you might have a more out like a harder time getting the pins in if they got like solder on them so warmed up you can't seen this. LCD at this angle.
300 Okay this is my Rhino tools Ed De 9 8 5 cheapest chips works. you know for the amount of desoldering I do like policy doing a lot of repair work a lot of desolder and then of course you'd get a get a better one but this is been pretty good I complain wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah oh that didn't come off yeah I goofed up goofed up the first one I think it was still not not warm enough. Many people we got 479 PS watching as many as last night. Guess word got around that soldering is not that interesting.
Yes Adi sold at 64 King ship Now these desoldering guns are reliable solder soldering guns. This is a desoldering I need a bit of you have to maintain them of course. got to make sure every like when you finish with it you got it. You can hear the air like yeah yeah you can hear it like sucking through so you know it's clean or you get the air your little yeah, catch a little um cleaner thing and give it a little wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah just to get the solder out of there and she's good to switch off and then you've got to change the you've got to clean the basic nice and clean.
You can't see through that one anyway. you can take out that and all the solder water coming up. Okay right. so gonna try and get this SRAM out now just gonna wiggle it back and we've walked back and forth a bit just to break any sold up because on the like on the top when you've got pads on the top, solder will get like stuck on the top, bits of the pin and you've just got to let break it away and it's just you know it's just how it works and if you're not careful, if you don't do that, you can lift the pin off the top of the board. There's a pad. Sorry, you can lift the pad off the top. But there we go. Beautiful.
It's like a bought one alright and you can probably see. There's certainly solder on those pins, but not enough. See, it might. it might be an that might or like that one there.
that third one, for example, it's got some more solder than the others, so that might be an issue if you try and plug it into the machine pin version. But because we've got one of these dual worked once, then yeah, it's no no worries. Back to it. all right.
this should be quicker because we're uh, we're already ten. those pads screaming, screaming, Well, that sweet funny screensaver again. Okay, all right, yeah, we know we had a chicken dinner. Would you wipe for the win? you think? Yeah.
I Do I do like my machine pins? yeah. often pays to add fresh solder before desoldering. Yeah, socket is not as high as the other chips. The socket is actually higher.
That's why if I put it down like that, the board's now wobbling I've got a wobble on it now. But all that all the chips are in so that's fine. Yeah, all right, Capacitators and Daddys, let's put the deities in, shall we? No fan, Don't stick your finger in the fan Dave All right, got some deities here. Once again, there's an art to bending these if you've got to bend them too.
if you've got to bend them to 0.4 0.3 so there's a there's an art to I do deem that to be 0.3 inch my metric rubbish and straight in Bob's your Uncle Lee Lap like a ball 1 Don't have to bend the pins on the other side here. this is where a frame would have come in handy. Oh, that's right. I gotta end on diodes.
That's right. I'm gonna put the stupid end on diodes Wow Yeah, it's annoying there anymore. Flatty's No, let's see it. I'll just get those out of the way.
okay snippety dude up. And of course, when you get in here like this, never cut flush like that. go in there flush and then just tilt it like that just a smidge and that will prevent cracking of the joint and always hold onto the penis because they fly away. Thank you Heinrich have a VB later I Don't drink but I'll go get myself a smoothie.
Thank you Mrs. Eevblog didn't make me lunch today. She doesn't make me lunch on Saturdays right now I Can write: I'll just go get the sample board. that's the easiest way rather than okay.
Yeah, see like okay. so the cathode goes to the square cathode goes to the square pin. so the anode goes to oh, it's got a oh, it's actually a little diode symbol on there. There you go.
But anyway. yeah. Oh, and they're all facing the same direction. actually.
Well, my face in the same direction. which is nice. Nice, nice, nice. This board.
This layout is very consistent in terms of ship orientation and everything. I Like it. It's good. All right. All right. Sorry. I'll do this off. Ball off.
It's not the world's best. How else does one calm his hands for us? If they sought him without alcohol or die as a pant, dyes appear, what's what's dies. A Pam I don't I don't know I Just like so rarely take any form of medicine or drugs. Personally, we have to have a limb falling off to have that happen I don't know what diazepam is.
Heard of it Mayo though they might call it something different here in Australia Is that a Yankee term? no I don't need anything to uh because I don't drink, don't don't drink alcohol I don't drink coffee, don't drink tea. A social outcast and any operation one. and I I didn't take any drugs after the knee operation I didn't take it. they they gave me a bunch but I didn't take any of it, didn't mean it.
That's because it's talking to the surgeon afterwards and I goofed it up in the video if you watch my knee surgery video. highly recommended by the way. Compelling viewing, but there's this point where he gets this huge big needle. you know, a syringe thing like giant syringe Singh and he's like and he's pumping something into my knee and I thought like I I put an overlay and I guess that it was like I don't know, washing it out, cleaning it out or something and next time I went in to see him, he'd seen my video and he went.
you've got a lot wrong Nike in it and yes, had a knee operation doing. watch my probably on a TV blog - you can see all about it. watch my knee surgery and he he said I know that that wasn't cleaning out the knee and I'm making sure it's all clean before they like stitch it all up. that was me pumping in a whole bunch of our local anesthetic.
So they pump in they puppy knee right after they've all done, they pump in local anesthetic into your knee before they stitch you all up and oh, there might be cleaning. step in there as well I don't know but I know they're actually cleaning as they go as they're drilling through and they you know they. Anyway, yeah, that was actually pumping in a ton of local anesthetic. That's why my that's why my knee didn't hurt.
That's why I couldn't feel a thing for days afterwards because it was always just local anesthetic and like I didn't need any drugs at all. It's great. actually. if somebody sees me make a mistake in this, don't don't tell me because I'd love to be able to I'd love for this not to work and and I have to troubleshoot it.
that'll be fun. it'd be an extra value. Videos: Maybe I can just goof up just I can deliberately do something and then track it down I should get someone to do that, but you get like someone to like take a board like this and then just like randomly like cut a trace or something you know and then I've got a oh you know, blow apart or something like that and I've got to track it down. That'd be fun. It's cheating, you know, it's not a real fault, but yeah, but they'd be it up to that. There'd be a nod to knowing what to break so that it gave symptoms. You know that not easy to find that pointed towards something else or something, so probably not as easy as you think. Wheeler's I'd never get lucky and repent.
No. I got lucky once in a repair video where it was a really interesting one that was the old HP oscilloscope where it turned out to be a thermal internal fault in a diode bridge. it was the diet I think it was maybe I was a diode bridge or something and that was really interesting and I was lucky to capture that like I could have gone like easily overlooked to that fault and went down the rabbit hole. but I I didn't and I thought that was a really good video tracing that down that was an internet.
really interesting fault, you know. I had to get like a thermal crack as it warmed. as the product warmed up it it would the diode bridge. it heat up and then it died.
That was a real interesting fault. Well it's very pleased. I found something interesting all right I think I've done on my deities, my deities, it all done I'm not gonna bend the legs I'm gonna do it's just flippity flippity doo-dah like that flippy yay and maybe like that. they won't all be even like some of them are leaning over how you doing I don't care like you know, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.
That's what you get for designing stuff with vertical vertical deities with and with rather large holes compared to the size of the the pins on a on a deity. If you're wondering why I call it a deities cuz that's what I called it as a kid. know when I was like a moment I eat or something and I had no idea I had no reference materials not like I you know it's not like that. what's YouTube videos and see how other people pronounce Diode? Alright so all I had was like the spelling in the spelling, in the on the schematics and the in the articles and stuff.
and I was reading and I I Didn't know anyone else into electronics so you know. didn't even think to ask my parents not that ever talked to my parents about my electronics. as long as I stayed in my state in my shed and worked on it. they were happy and so I called him deities for a lot of years until I can't remember when I first realized I was saying it wrong.
but yep, daddy, a lot of people take it for granted. Now the interwebs and watching YouTube videos and whatever you know back then it was just what you have with the magazines. Okay, yeah, sometimes you gotta get some weird angles to get through these pins. Go away.
Mister screen, save up. I'm gonna disable that in a minute. it's bugging me. sorry.
I'm not reading the comments at the moment. I'm to read the comments much at all. Okay, his little fans working well. pretty impressed.
Let's show how to put the top and filter is on the air. I'm not sure where or how this carbon filters from. They're really all that they like crumbling. if I touch it it like yeah, don't crumble apart. Oh there's another one I think I miss one I think I got a more and yeah I missed one All right to noon. Thankfully dokely Yep, it's an 80s 200. Oh yeah, you can play from Tea equipment can you? yeah? I guess what is it? 5% discount for the Eevee I don't know what the I don't know the coupon code sorry offhand but yeah to equip and do give you like a five percent discount off anything on the store that's handy. They're already got pretty good prices so of course it's really only for Yanks I'm not sure I I think tea equipment do ship and they I think I gave the website this is no can now ship to Australia or something.
what could now ship overseas but I don't know how competitive the prices would be with shipping and whatnot in the various exchange rates. Yes, it's not about on the ideas 200 not can I write home to my mom about it. but it's pretty good. You know as a as a direct heat No, it's not a direct Heat iron is it? No, it's a young Yeah, Yes, yes yeah.
The use of the cartridge tips. Yeah, of course it does. There you see, this is the cartridge chips and they're coming to: I Think they come in two types. These are the higher thermal mass, the ones with the larger ceramic element.
There are the higher mass ones and these ones are the lower mass there's There's two different types, costs more I think for the other for the higher mass tires. but of course you want the high mass type. Might have to get a Met Cow for big jobs because my JVC's okay for big jobs, but still. you know it's not going to do as good a job as a Met Cow if I have to, you know, take a part of Metal Candy Soul or a metal can or something like that.
Micke cows are expensive, sick and hand ones pretty rare, especially he the kind of component leads magnetic. No, they're not. They're tin plated copper. okay.
and by the way. Protip: always keep the pin tails as they're called. Some people call them pigtails. Peden tails always.
always keep a drawer full of these because they make great 0m jump links. Real handy, right? So I think I think I got all those restaurateurs and crap. ton of bypass caps and your odd crystal and and your connectors and whatnot. Let's yeah, yeah, no, there's no diodes in this part, is there? No I got those ones.
They're not capacitor capacitate or or condenser. you condense a fair voice. Dude, what temperature are we using currently set to Oh head sits on sleep currently set for 370 Dude: someone at the door. no, it's no one in the building I'm the only one dumb enough to be here today.
Yeah, like a mech. hell. Alliance like over a thousand bucks here or something. Crazy alright capacitors I Guess the bunch of other stuff in this box I Don't know why I guess in the lab move for the lab cleanup from the flood. your resistor array. are they the 27 puff ones or something for the crystal? Ah, already got the caps out. Alright anyway is same resistor arrays 2.2 kite Are they old? 2.2 K Yeah, these ones are. These ones are common.
so you're going to get the pin one correct. They're they're common because it's got an odd number of pins, so one of them is a common and then you've got four four resistors in the one package. If it was an even number of pins, you'd know it's probably individual resistors for most likely individual resistors. And of course, they use these as pull ups for your diode gates, diode, or gates.
Just like that. Just let that and get there, you know? I Thought that's nice that they do it like that, but they don't do it down here. Maybe they just, you know, like ran out of space and whatnot. Just fine.
Love to reboot what's rebooting Full-time Youtuber named Vortex Nambour Tex Never heard of Nambour Tex but it's named Vortex Dude. hexadecimal I Don't what is reboot? Someone tell me 120 pounds from net cow? this is NaN Vortex. Oh okay, right now Bautex us what's what's my day job. This is my day job Youtube.
I've been full time Youtube for like eight and a half years now. geez, yet less for murder, Cgi cartoon? maybe with our estuaries? Better than okay, right? Yeah! Denny Um, that's why you like that I do heat capacity test. Yeah well, they see honey. Like how else can you test the difference between irons if you don't do the heat capacity test and I had I had was it pace? Was it Pace? or was it yeah.
Yeah, cuz Pace advertised this one. No, no, they didn't know so Well, Yeah, they kind of did. Pace advertised this ad s 200 is industry-leading industry-leading thermal performance, right? And then somebody on the eevblog forum there's a huge thread started out that somebody called this a JBC killer or you know, JBC killer Question mark. They wanted to know if this was a JBC killer or not.
So in my review video of this I compared its thermal performance to the JBC and it's not as good obviously and Pace actually complained. They said hey, you know, look this is an unfair comparison. Well you did put on your data sheet that this is unmatched thermal performance and I compared it sure rightly. The JBC was more expensive, fair enough, but you know like it's the only way to do it and then they complain or you shouldn't be testing the thermal performance like that? Well I asked them how else do you do it the way a test for thermal performance is on a copper clad board.
I turned the temperature right down until it can just melt that copper clad board right? So right on the but what temporary at what temperature does it melt on that copper clad board and you know it might be 270 degrees or something for example. And if the air and if another iron does it at 260 degrees or 250 degrees then that's a better capacity thermal iron right? And there's just no other way to do it. You can't test them. You wake it up like I've got. Now at 370 degrees, every iron at 370 degrees worth its salt is gonna give you a result. On a copper clad board, you can't see the difference. You've got a wine that temperature right down a pace complained very wrongly and I told him so that or you can't you shouldn't be solder into such lower temperature. Well you tell me how I can test the performance difference between ions.
how I can compare them And they went. They these didn't reply but they didn't have a reply to it. So by that they they grudgingly admitted that my test was the only valid way to compare thermal performance between ions because they have no better way to do it themselves. So yeah, sucking pace and that was funny.
all right. Ah, there's another one. That one's a six. oh two four five, there's another one up there I hear we get one one left.
So yeah yeah, can't compare it's they're more like it doesn't but once again like it doesn't matter. a huge amount if you you, know. So luring things at 370 or whatever, right? it doesn't matter. But if you do actually want to compare ions then that's you.
Know you have to do it somehow and you do it on the wet at the point of fire. You can't compare where they're both. You know it's like you know who's got the fastest car when you're reviewing cars or something, right? You know who's your right. You've got to do it like an acceleration test or you've got it.
You know, do that. you can't just drive. and Beaufort 100 kilometres an arrow and go. Oh look, they both go to 100 kilometres an hour.
Yeah, like it's just silly. So anyway, there's a bigger one up there. Alright capacitators. but is it worth it? JB C's overpriced, but is it well yet? JB C's a good quality ions.
Yeah, yeah yeah. some people you've got to do your own reason. You know there's no one best. Orion for everyone and everything that's just doesn't exist.
but my JVC's are really good ions. Really great performance and yeah then they'd got cheap if you offer a cheaper solution or you die by JVC video you know. But as far as the direct heat ions in the lake, the $200 class goes this pace. ATS 200 is right up there.
It's pretty good. I love the aluminium case and I love how there it is I love how it's got the aluminium extrusion so you can put in like hangers in here. they should actually supply them but you can put in like hangers and hang them like mounted under your like you know it's just got the red, the t-slot railings that's that's called. yeah and yeah I just love that and you can mount it under the bench and I'm gonna do that to this one.
I've just got to get the my benches back in order after the boys had to move my benches again because they came in and they replace the glass here. So yeah this room was starting to get set up again and they just came in and yeah oh we want to replace a cracked glass. Okay well yeah, all right bit like Tim Cook I look like Tim Cook do I oh I can see why-- playing with the glasses Tim Cook the chef is the chef Cody Brooke probably of course we don't need all these capacitors but the whole point is I'm gonna do apples to apples comparison. So I'm gonna put the taps in done a whole video on that. that was a really good video I really enjoyed that that Monson video where I removed all the caps until it stopped working I thought that was great I actually loved this series that I'm doing. This board is like perfect for perfect example for doing these. like EMC comparisons for doing months in and stuff like that I died I Just love it and I don't want to brag but like nobody I don't think anyone else has done anything close to those sort of you know direct companion C comparisons like I'm doing here with with these I don't I haven't seen that information anywhere like you know cuz you got to go to a fair bit of effort to you know assemble different design boards to design and build these different design boards to you know do the a beacon the ABC in this case ABC comparisons and with the you know, ground ground planes in the middle, ground planes on the outside, and low ground planes all that sort of stuff. so yeah, it's uh I think it's really quite unique.
Valuable information: I think I've got a decent number of views - one one thing that really kind of you know it'll work. Any Youtuber any Content producer is you should produce a good video. You know you think it's really valuable information. it's really good you know and it doesn't get many views.
It's like you know where is some other video you do which you know you didn't put any effort into and I don't know you, we're just mucking around and it gets you know a million views or something. It's yeah, yeah well it's so the life of the Youtuber I can't handle that. You're going sign 4:35 in Germany yeah would be dummy. Some leads after soldered on the ball because of room temperature.
Yeah, yeah, you got to be careful, especially on doing this. MD rework. You know there's a you can actually lift, can actually lift pads. Oh yeah cuz there's not much.
it's not much glue holding those pads down to the to the fiberglass and you heat them up. And especially if you get poor poor quality boards they can out they they don't handle the heat as well. And yeah, that can be a real problem. I Love these bent pin cap like they just go in the holes and they just sit there.
they don't fall out. I Can turn this board upside down and it's just got a little bit of outward friction there to keep those to keep them in. So I can like flip that upside down and they don't fall out I Don't need to be in the pins. Very nice. Yep, they're all bypass caps so it doesn't matter which way they go in as I've shown in a video. you don't need them all. In fact, you don't need any bypass caps on this board to make it work. This is a fascinating subject.
You can do a PhD thesis on analyzing board bypassing. Seriously, it's yeah. you haven't lost a pet with 290. Yeah, you wouldn't lose it with to 92 to 97.
as long as you want to go really C6 appear C5 Oh did I pull out the exact number of caps? Did I did I of course I did because I'm an Assembly God Boss level Assembly skills I pulled out the exact number of caps from the packet that I needed. Sis: it's it's the force. It's using the force you were all not worthy I Love it. With stuff like that happens, it's like you know, just just gives you that nice little warm fuzzy.
Those who don't know that is the tune that I whistle when it's us sped up in my tear downs occasionally. haven't done that for I haven't done that for a while. We saw it in a speed up and tear down speed up often. You can't be fussy with the joints that you do in these situations with all these leads in the way because you're not exactly optimal.
It's time by the way. Still in a bit hungry? Yeah. 12:41 Thought: sir, sorry somebody asked me sir. please ask me something in the comments.
So I was something to talk about while I'm doing this rather tedious work. Shoot me a question or opinion. So I can just rant for a couple of minutes I shall look in 30 seconds I'm fine Stephen Effin Hawkinson Yeah they can hear the ground planes can suck the heat out. song requests power of love.
You don't want me to sing. Trust me, this is my real job. reincarnation. No such thing.
dude. if it makes you sleep better at night, believe any delusion you like, Come a guts up. What's the origin of the term? How is it spilt come I gut. So it's like come - ie - guts or just come I Got some three words: the a is separate opinion on weed I don't have any opinion on weed should be legal.

Dude I've I linked the SOT the Tesla solar panel thing. Go to my video, go to my video and look in the description and I think I link to another video which explains why Tesla are at fault for this. It's it's it's really bad. No, they're not technically Tesla panels.
there's solar city panels but I mean yeah Elon Musk has always had a and own a part ownership in Solar City and it's formed by his cousin and so you know Anyway, it's no. Tesla's bad, they're really bad. Favorite 8-bit computer. Oh god I don't know.
Open pick in place I know pick in places like now you've got to have a very specific need for pick in place. It's not for everyone you need. A very specific is a very narrow window of usability for a prefer a do it for your own pick and place machine. Really favorite class in University Jesus I dunno don't think I liked any of them.
Well, you cut it out. How do you remove an RFID chip under the skin? You cut it out. Get a scalpel here you go. Just get one of these babies.

Seriously, you're asking me about solar roadways? Oh my mouse is frozen. Oh no, its back. its back Dave Like Gender Studies Oh God Don't give me gender studies.
Wow man. any university that has gender studies should be like deep, publicly defunded. shouldn't get any. Shouldn't get any tax dollars? What a waste of a degree Jesus Engineering computations.

Is he using a soldering station? No. I was never into Nintendo or see you do. No one didn't know anyone who have one. What's my thought on Brexit? What am I Preferred gender pronouns? My preferred gender pronouns are piss off. That's a much preferred gender. Pronouns are jeez. like seriously, avoid anyone on Twitter who puts their gender pronouns in their profile just like you. You know, you just know to avoid those people just like nothing is good.
gonna. Nothing good is going to come from that. The Blue Checkmark brigade their preferred pronouns. Unbelievable.
All those idiots gonna look back in 20 years time and go Why they hell did I do all that Anyway, my thoughts on Brexit: sorry I'm gonna don't I'll just pick a thing and finish this cuz otherwise I won't get it done. I Brix it yes III think they should leave I think Brix It's whether it's a good or bad idea. only time will tell I think it's probably a good idea and I like the idea of I You know, an unelected unelected EU governing who you are and that sounds pretty? It sounds pretty shitty to me. So yeah, I think I think Brexit I'm not against Brix it and people voted for us I Just do it like heaven or we wouldn't know.
The referendum piss off you had your freaking referendum. You agreed on the rules, you agreed on the if you wanted that. you should have had like a 60% target or something like that. but no thought they were gonna win.
They thought they were gonna breeze it in and they're gonna all the remain as I thought that's you know every word vote for it And then they had a big hissy fit when they lost and it wouldn't have been the other way around. I Tell you what I Reckon that if the remain is won, the pro Brexit people wouldn't have kicked up the same stink like oh well. okay now it's different circumstances because if they voted to remain then nothing happens and the whole thing dies out. Okay, fair enough.
Didn't think about that. but yeah, like just like, just go ahead and do it. you voted for it. Just do it.
It's not a bad thing. your country's not gonna collapse Jesus you might even be better off. and yeah, I think yeah. to be able to control your own sovereign country, That's it.
That's a bloody good thing. All right. Not like the idea of like yeah, you know there's some good things about the European Union perhaps. but yeah, that's a baby how you doing? Oh there we go.
Yeah, my um this, um my excellent made in the US for one apart. Is that a Is that a metaphor Like is that an omen that the U.s. is falling apart? Anyway, the US is gonna win the trade war against China China's in China Yep, China's gonna lose because everything like seriously like this like all the other country like us is going well. we won't boys ship from China anymore we're a will would you get our cheap stuff from another country? So all the other countries me me me like the yet nama some is you know a lot of stuffs moving to Vietnam now it's no coincidence and I think our Prime Minister is there at the moment or was there like recently. First time ever in like 30 or 40 years of Australian Prime Minister's been to Vietnam and yeah things are happening there in other countries you know India and Malaysia and you know other other places us can get there cheap. you know it's not that hard to up and move your stuff out of. China It's quite a big exodus from getting stuff manufactured in China now. so China better you know watch what they're doing cuz I don't think they're gonna win I don't think they're gonna win.
Oh that was my hand on the fan so as the comment feed, blow it up. all the all the remainders have gone ballistic. They're just that kids have exploded. No I think there's a it's a bloody I think it's gonna be a good thing when I think Boris should get it.
just do it. leave daylight like I Don't know the Inc in intricacies of the deal versus no deal thing but who cares, Just leave. Just freaking leave. But you can always set up your trade deals in any country.
Yeah, I am. England's a frickin' huge economy, massive market, and of course countries are like the US and Australia and others is gonna bend over backwards to do deals like that. If you know with England why wouldn't they? It's just to think that you're gonna leave and you gonna lose all this business is. You know there might be a little short-term problem, but yeah, alright like anyway people voted for it so just do it like yep I think I think it'll turn out to be a good thing.
assuming that they go, they should. Boris I'll probably get the job done maybe I don't know. but yep, it's a big tattoo at the moment. isn't there? The did it the the British Foreign Secretary Who's the immigration minister aside like I don't know.
She just came out and said that that they're gonna write you wait the old a free move what? after or October something date that they're doing the hard brexit thing No Deal or No Deal bricks it. You won't be able to come into the UK anymore late. Cantor's wander in. you'll have to.
actually you know you have to get a visa or whatever to come in and that's how bloody well should be. Although Europe is a you know I guess it's because all the countries are basically you know G's gets you can spend a day, you can drive for a day and go through five or ten countries couldn't you? It's like it's nuts. See why? Is there like random heat sinks like that in there? but you have nothing to do. This should be like a project marks for just this.
Yet it's it's not. Oh wow. Wow. Oh no, that's it.
Check it out. There's a blast from the past. Ah, my bloody mouse is freeze. There's a blast from the past back when I used to sell the microcurrent as a kit.
There is the kit for the microcurrent that's a microcurrent kid I didn't know I had any of those left. Wow. I I use it originally like 12 years ago or something. I used to sell the microcurrent the original version as a kid and yeah, solder yourself kid and that was. that was. wow. This three of them. three, three microcurrent kids.
Wow I Don't have the blink boy oh boy yeah. I'll probably do a slate boards. oh it's four of them Oh Microcurrent kids Wow You need to check those caps under that Mouse o-week Okay, don't feed the troll. Who's who's trolling.
What? What at UC Davis in California That was the first thing they asked my daughter. I'm paying twenty thousand dollars a year for that crap. yeah Wow Wow What you prefer Gender pronoun Piss off Jesus Unbelievable. A lot of your identity politics.
It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. Yeah, it's not gonna last too much longer. I Think it's It's starting to show signs of having its head.
its run. and I think it's the. The soldering station is just a pace ATS 220 You can see that. yeah paste.
sorry case ABS 220. That's it there. I think that excited. Well, it's actually an exciting case.
I Really like the air. Now you mean Iam case on it. It's really. it's really pretty great.
Really very nice. It's performance is okay. Alright, poor thoughts on lead in soldering fumes. Lead is not in the fumes when you go like this.
when you go. I thought well this is lead-free solder. But when you go like this and this and these fumes come off, these fumes come off like that. Okay, there is no lead in those fumes that is rosin flux that is sap from a tree.
Rosin and it is. It is not Led. Led is at the surface thing so you got to clean your hand. So as long as you don't go licking your hands, yeah, you're fine.
I Know there is some. There's the skins. A pretty good barrier actually. that's what the skins for.
Um, so yeah, it's uh. it's not really a problem. okay. - Katie's cheese I'm hungry.
little pissy eighth Watt resistors. Anything else you want me to rant on? Another one gone ballistic in the comments I Think engineers generally understand the ridiculousness of yeah identity politics. Oh yeah, you don't want to be I'm not saying Rosen's a good thing to be sucking up. You definitely don't want to be sucking it up, but it's not.
We're prospecting for minerals. Awesome. That'd be fun. Did Dave piss off some UB members I Had lunch with a former you being employee last night.
lunch at dinner before me you being employee who shall remain nameless. Bloody hell huh? stupid fan at lunch with a you being employee I think I posted a photo on Twitter somewhere of a previous dinner I had with two former You Beam employees. They both work at a very interesting new startup which I will hopefully get like a demo. Like it, you know, one of the first units or a demo of some hardware shortly I Think you'll like it. It's it's very. It's actually a clever way that they're doing crude but clever way I Don't know I won't even mention clue but clever way that they'd solved a a problem in the consumer space. Let's say anyway, it's some. It's quite interesting.
so I hope to present that eventually. There's no more 2k twos on their face. There is not by stocking this starter. What? I think of Bernie Sanders He's old.
He's old. He says some okay stuff and then he says some stupid stuff and then no, you know, wasn't he against open borders? Now he's Pro Open Borders like all the idiot Democrats Freaking open borders. Are you me? That's stupid. All these people, My god, whatever.
want to destroy your country, have open borders? Go for it. Bunch of Europe has a big problem. Sweden has a big problem. What's a European country M&E is a big problem.
bunch of dicks really. And now the Democrats are throwing a new Democrats at throwing Obama under the bus because Obama used to be he had you know he was I closed the borders. you know, build the wall, close the borders, throw out all the illegal immigrants or then you know and the people they're in illegally Obama was all for that. He he threw out more people than any other president I think and they conveniently forget that and now they're throwing him under a bus.
some new Democrats are John Foley's open border. What a bunch of idiots. Hey Drone war. yeah why would you throw a by a regardless of what you think of Obama He was popular and still is and to throw him under the bus is a bad move.
bad political move, very bad. yeah. okay. if you want to be pro-immigration yeah fine.
be pro-immigration becoming the right way. You know? do you like Arduino Are you know has its place? Okay I've used it for things Joseph Joseph Dave until now I've had much respect for you right now, but you're throwing it all the way. Have fun soldering and keep politics out. Bugger off Joseph I'll say whatever I damn well like you don't leave it.
he can leave You know if you don't like it? No. I'm not gonna stop talking because somebody's offended doesn't like my opinion. Piss off. Don't like it.
You can argue away in the comments. Go ahead boy. you know, ask me to clarify or do whatever. But uh, you know.
no. don't don't tell me to shut up. You can piss off and you won't toss me. Shut up.
Can piss off All right. Have two K twos on your day. I'm offended that you're offended. Yeah, seriously, that's my channel.
sorry Rodin will like my name Karis People don't lock it on. it cares. People unsubscribe. Didn't give a rat's if you ask me a question.
oh I'll answer. I'll give my honest opinion and hide my opinion because it might offend someone. What? what? What kind of life is that to live? Seriously, why that's that's just ridiculous. Thank you.
Yeah, yeah, it's no way to live. Let me tell you. I'd be afraid to express your opinion. The Eevblog is not a safe space. Damn right. Break her off. Yes! I Talked with Dick Smith A lot. He finds me up all the time.
Tricky Dick Tricky Dick Smith Oh goodness Yes Yeah! I helped him set up his new YouTube channel which he hasn't done much with. He's really only released one video on there. He's got two videos but ones an older one and I hoped instead of any late sometimes like two or three times a week, he's calling me wanting to know some he really wants to know like all the best way to do stuff and the intricate details and stuff like that. Thank you Richard head hey respect respect for what my telling people to bugger off opinions and all that sort of stuff.
Thank you very much. even if you don't like someone's opinion like Dick is just like you Ava you know you discuss it recently with them or you just ignore them like all right? Jeez, um yeah. Tricky. Dicky come with me all the time and he went I should be won.
one time he phoned me up anyway I should be paying you for this. No, no, no, it's all right. Yeah, Is it true we had a power supply called the Big Dick. Yes, he did have a power supply called the Big Dick I Know no, there's also.
yes, he had a power supply called yes, it was the Big Dick and he wanted another one called the Mighty Dick. What about abortion? Oh there we go. There we go. There's a topic, topic and a half and yeah I think it should be legal I don't necessarily like it like it's not a good thing I don't don't think anyone should like abortion like I don't you know oh it's in like it's not a good thing but I realize it it's you know it's a necessary thing.
and yeah I I'm pro-choice in that aspect. it's not yeah doesn't mean I like it. You don't have to like something to support it like to be. You know to think that it should be.
It's like you know I don't like weed for example like I'd never smoke the stuff right? But if your cigarettes illegal, why isn't leave weed legal? So you might like just stuff like that right? Alcohol is legal. all these drugs are legal and they text the buggery you know ah lure away and I thought I I was until I did a video on Laura where and and but no it didn't work in Australia they had to like let the people who were into making this box that I've got to go to Laura where box they had to do like custom firmware to make it work here in Australia they did. They very kindly offered to come out and do it for me the the The Little Dick War Ward Oh Respect for not being afraid to express ourselves so thank you very much Richard yeah no that's no way to live your life. If you're afraid to lose your job or your friends or or whatever it is because of your opinions then that then if that seriously that's no way to live your life.
Get out of that. Just say what you think and things happen the way things happen. You know, whatever like they probably should not be your opinion. The problem is the problems. Never with somebody's opinion. The problem is with how people will react to that opinion. and that's the problem. instead of solar powered soldering I you very much Mississippi Wildlife? Yeah, alcohol kills a lot of people.
Yeah, yeah. I do like air crash investigations? Yeah, yeah, it's fascinating. Yeah yeah. Dave has logical opinions.
I'm surprised the internet hasn't tarred and feathered it. Yeah, yeah. haven't looked into the news about the fire in the Amazon Um I've heard things about it I haven't had a chance to look at. it.
Doesn't sound good. Okay, if we go in there, how about gun ownership? Oh Gun ownership I Like living in Australia Let's put it that way: I Like actually, you know where we have very strict gun laws, but that there are a lot of guns here. There are a lot of guns here, but we don't have the gun culture and now I can go get a gun, right? But I can't just go to a shop and buy it right? I've got to get a background check I've got to get a thorough police check and then you've got to keep it locked up. You've got to keep the ammunition locked separately so you gotta have safety not allowed to carry it.
You can't use it for self-defense Yeah, that's not a reason to own a gun. You know we have very sensible laws, but there are a lot of guns here. Just in my suburb. I think there's like 5,000 guns I've looked at the stats, there's a lot but you can walk the streets it like you can get robbed.
you know? Yeah, you can walk the streets at night and you don't have to worry about someone mugging you with a gun like you can work at a service station. You don't really have to worry about somebody who's gonna hold up the service station with a gun. It's just like you know, yeah, it's just not something that we worry about here. You know if somebody comes up, you know if somebody's like, yeah, if you walk in the dark streets, you don't have to be afraid that's somebody or they might be carrying a gun.
No, nobody's carrying a gun here. It's just something that we don't have to worry about. And and America's so far is America I don't think they can get there. there's this is so ingrained in your culture and it was like here yo We we had the Port Arthur massacre right idea I'm hungry I should be back.
Um yes he's back and like we. We had the Port Arthur Arden Arthur massacre at in Tasmania at the time the biggest single mass shooting in history. it was the biggest for like 20 years or something and and right after that John Howard As much as you want to say about Little Johnny Mr. Shane he went right.
We're banning all these automatic semi-automatic weapons were being like hundreds. hundreds of different types of weapons. We we disband everyone's sweat sounds sounds sensible and so we handed all our guns back. everyone. Just you know, there are few people who kicked up a stick, but look, nobody went out and shot anyone, right? Nobody. Although John Howard did famously very famously. Our prime minister wore a bulletproof vest to like just after he made the announcement. He was doing like a speech at a public place and he they must the Federal police or something must have talked him into wearing this bulletproof vest and you can see it when he races Either you can see and it made the front page news.
It was hilarious and of course you know people don't He don't care enough to shoot somebody. Ridiculous and anyway, you know a few people complain. but we III paid I think it was it was like half a percent. it was in additional one-off tax.
it was I think it was half a percent. Don't crime, it could have been a percent. So at your yearly tax return we paid an extra percent I think it was like three hundred bucks. It was itemized on my tax return at the time and said you've paid three hundred bucks or something for the gun buyback scheme and we bought all these guns back.
We paid to buy them all back and then we just destroyed them all. There's big photos of piles of tens of thousands of gun. It's just being destroyed and you know, and it's a good thing. And now there's talk about we want to, You know, like make our gun laws.
You know, more more lenient. Insane we've gone through. You know, the hard part getting people to hand back all their guards. We should tighten them even further.
It's just ridiculous. Um, do we even think that we should go back in the other direction? It's just. it's just madness. You know it's just anyway.
That's that's guns you can Americans cannot. They cannot fathom a country where you can walk the streets at night and not have to worry about somebody having a gun wait. But they just can't. Let's just come visualize it and I feel sorry for them.
They can't And yeah, it does actually work. but I'm not sure it will work for America I'm not saying I'm not saying that, but um, you know they think they could be too far gone. Although you know I don't think you're too far gone to start introducing a sensible gun laws. It'll take generations.
It's a generation or change thing though. More resistance. Yeah, you can't. Um, can't just expect to do it overnight? I Mean we tweak? Well, we we.
We didn't do it. Oh well. it kind of sort of did it overnight how it just made the announcement right. Ben And all these guns.
but buying hand them in, you've got six million, three months to hand them in or whatever I will pay you for and then will scrap him if you don't like it. Tough titties and everyone in Australia sweat sounds like good idea. You know why? Why do these people need these automatic weapons? They're semi-automatic you know, weapons and whatnot. It's just yeah, we had no problems. We had no problems at all with that. So nobody went feral. There was not a single gun owner in the country that went feral and decide oh, I'm gonna, you know I'm gonna show you what I'm gonna shoot up the place or whatever in protest. Not everyone here did.
He comes back so good, good, all right. So needless light, all the Yanks are all going ballistic in the comments. So yeah. and and the thing is - I Can't believe this is not a thing in the US Like you know, because it's your constitutional right to own a gun.
It's like here if you get if you're a gun owner you cannot get if if you do anything wrong like you feel assault someone or if you do anything at all that the then the police you'll be automatically flagged AHA right. You've done something wrong. You own a gun, they actually come and they take it away from you. You're not allowed to own it anymore.
It's a privilege here in Australia it's not a right. So and like I said I can go have my gun right? I Can I can go out No one. but like you know, virtually no one does. You died.
you know. Seriously? like I can't recall. Like if if somebody was like in Sydney for example, and at at night was mugged at gunpoint, that would be national news. That'll be news all across the country.
Seriously. But but that happens. How many times at how many times in the US right? If somebody gets killed with a gun here, it's national news. It is what you know at six o'clock national news coverage.
someone was shot right and it's always. It's never just a random person on the street because you know some road rager or something right? Like it's it's knit or somebody mugging and got mugged and they you know, mugged at gunpoint and they got shot because they resisted. It never happens to you, it just doesn't happen. It's always like gang, drug, gang members or something bike.
he's killing each other or you know, something like that. Um yeah. seriously. a single shooting would make the Six O'clock Museum.
Really, it's totally different. Well, it's hardly different. Well to America what are you supposed to do with a gun in Australia Shoot shoot Shoot kangaroos to sport him. Yeah, All right.
I'm sure you do have me shooting in Jizan you see best, but you have so many of them that it's like you know. there are many trees and some first in your country to out th
Anyone build a stereo amp around 1x NE555 and 1x NE556 and BD131 transistors and 2x OP-Amps for use in the feedback circuit, Don't talk to Dave about Solar Roadways as he has had enough
Dave loves Australia for the same reasons I love Canada but Australia is much farther from the US so I guess Dave wins! 🙂
Too right on Never fear giving an opinion.. rock on dude.

Yes there was a lot of falshoods during the uk referendum for the brexit, however most leavers did research before making their decision, we didnt all rely on what we were told, unlike the remainers who are still lilstening to what they are told, rather than using their own intelligence and investigating things themselves.. Until people begin to look into stuff themselves, rather than listening to what others tell them, it will always be the same
you look younger with glasses

Came for the soldering, but regarding the guns – don't believe everything you see on Twitter or other internet media regarding guns in America. The vast majority of people here are not worried about walking down the street and getting shot, with the possible exception of some particularly bad parts of some major cities. The state I'm from has some of the loosest gun laws in the US, including concealed carry without a license, and we don't have any more gun violence than other parts of the country. As far as taking all guns away, it's insane to punish all law abiding citizens for the actions of an incredibly tiny minority of awful ones.
I thought that you were gonna solder live circuits, not live stream soldering
What’s the obsession with this antique board design yet again?
The Problem with Guns in the US is Organized Crime, in a nutshell. Its certain areas that are dangerous.
And that talking about is considered racist…
If you remove those Urban problem areas, the statistics show pretty low gun crimes.
PS: the founding fathers thought that the people might have to defend themselves from the gouvernment and overthrow them, when they become too tyranical. That's one of the reasons. Another one: Who would invade the US of A with that amounts of Guns?
What is the difference between soldering flux and paste?
Local anesthetics don't last that long usually. Hours usually? Course I haven't taken THAT many of them to know for sure. Mostly just for dental things like having my wisdom teeth out etc. never broken a bone or needed other kinds of surgery.
The light makes the red solder mask look very Reese's orange. Or maybe I'm just hungry.
I use a flush cutter that has a lead retainer… keeps cut leads from flying everywhere.
The Brexit vote aftermath exposed all the unprepared EU countries who were invested in The City Of London Corporation. Banks from the US, SE Asia etc have used the Big London Laundromat for decades.
