Building a custom vintage go kart episode 5 of 10 @GoPowerSports #shorts #shortsfeed #gokart #kart #gokartbuild

In the last part of the Go-kart build I Welded the new wheel bolts on so I can mount the bigger Go Power Sports wheels and tires. It's time to get started on the engine. For a power plant, we have your typical Harbor Freight Predator 212. It's a non-hemi based off the valve cover and the number up here.

time box is bad boy. Voila! I can't just drop this on and run it because the gas tank right here collides with the back of the seat rest. You can see how far off the holes and the engine plate needs to be to fit this. Predator 212 to get everything to line up Nice! So I'm going to have to cut the stock plate off and weld on this new Go Power Sports one.

As you can see I welded the engine plate, front, back, top, sides, bottom and now it's time to put the engine on.
