Hi. Just a quick blob video to keep you updated on what just happened in the Youtube alternative space. Because as you no doubt aware, I've mentioned it many times, I'm on pretty much every platform out there. I'm not only on Youtube, I'm on my own server as well.

And I'm also on Library, which is a huge uh thing. I've currently got 41 850 followers on Library. Absolutely a huge online bit. Shoot, I'm on Vimeo, I'm on.

uh, there's new ones coming up all the time and I'm on everything. Anyway, Guess what's just happened? Google? Not Youtube, but Google Owned Youtube. Google have just banned the Library Android app from the play store. Yep, without warning and for contrived reasons.

Uh, here's uh. Jeremy Kaufman, Ceo of Library, and uh, this video details their exact communications, reasoning and hypocrisy. We believe we are being targeted. You do big creators fleeing Youtube for Library.

And they are, by the way. And by the way. Uh, coincidentally, uh, Library have just released a new platform. It's still based on Library, but they've rebranded it as Odyssey.

You can still see that, uh, Libraryt Dot Tv is still there and the whole library ecosystem and platform is all still there. but you can't get on Android now. Um, but uh yeah, Odyssey. Um, here.

this is their new rebranding so I've got the same number of followers. Everything's still the same, except it's sort of like a more friendly, uh, user interface. So definitely go check it out. It's it's only brand new, so they're You know they're after feedback and and things like that.

And uh, I got it set up so that the lab here if you go over to the lab category, has a whole bunch of there's There's big Clive there he is with his what's he got? Bailey's Irish cream. anyway. um, a whole bunch of electronics. uh, Youtubers over there and uh, science.

and um, you know, other uh, videos. Oh, there's my latest live show. it's already over there. I just just did that an hour ago it's already pulled in.

Um, fantastic. So anyway, give Odyssey a try because a lot of your favorite electronics Youtubers are over there. Um, you know, library. It's just a new rebranding Odyssey? Cool.

Anyway, Google have just banned the uh Library app from your dumb phone from your shoe phone here. Um, so yeah. Fantastic. Guess what their reason is? Well, let's hear from Jeremy himself.

let's see what he has to say about. I thought I was going to be making a video about Odyssey today, but I'm not because we have been banned from the Play store. That's right. if you pull up the Library app on the Play store, you'll now see this.

It's gone. This is the email that they sent us. Just woke up to this: This is the way it works. You just get taken down.

There's no warning. You can attempt to appeal with the massive bureaucracy that is Google, but there's no discussion. It doesn't matter that you know you have hundreds of thousands of downloads and a good rating. It's not the way the system works works.

Quite similar to the way that Youtube works comes out of the blue. You don't know it's coming. Maybe you can get someone to talk to you. Maybe you can't.

What's especially delicious is what they cited as the problem here. This is dumb. So here are the images. This is a non-pornographic scene from a comedy.

It's it's not pornographic, right? Let's look at some of the other things that you can watch on apps from the Play store. Yeah, let's not watch the other stuff anyway. he just goes through uh yeah.

other things that you can watch on. no problems that are a thousand times worse than that on the Google Android Play store. So there you go. Library.

Google have banned the Library Android app. Of course you can still access it on your shoe phone. You can just uh, you know, go to Library.tv or Odyssey.com as you should be using now because it's a bit friendlier. Um, and you can still do it that way, but you can't get the app.

Unbelievable. Is it just the Youtube bot? again? Will they unbet? Will they realize? Oh, this is not a good look. Banning one of our technically one of our competitors and probably One of the leading competitors to Youtube at the moment. Of course, this is Google doing it.

Not Youtube, but Google own Youtube. So it's effectively uh yeah. Banning Huge one of Youtube's biggest competitors from the Play store. Yeah, that's a good look.

You don't have to go to your browser and things like that, Um, on the desktop here. I I still I'm a bit of a browser fanboy, so I tend to. Well, yeah, but they've got Windows app as well. Um, and uh yeah.
