If I were a content creator, I'd just turn off the comments and direct everyone elsewhere, be it reddit or something else.
You have the forum, so that's even better. Maybe if enough people did it, Youtube would notice the sudden decrease in comment usage and finally deal with it. Or not, it is Youtube after all.

All the porn bots have the stupid "double bangers" picture on their channel, that's all they'd have to check for. Pure ignorance!
YT could fix this right, quick and in a hurry. Fact is, they won't. Why? Because even fake accounts make them look good. Just like the facespace. They report 'new accounts' and such to shareholders to show "see, continuous growth". It's a big thing. This is NOT difficult to fix, but again, when you're faking your numbers to the shareholders (and even your leadership), this won't go away.
YouTube algorithms are at Full Throttle censoring people's political views but somehow they're algorithms can't detect these Bots.
Creating multiple accounts as super easy though, this is something I have to do just to fact check the so-called news.
There is this webpage you can create a persona. Complete with credit card number, home address, school, work and a real functioning email. The email is only active as long as you have the said window open. Once you close the window the email no longer exists.
Is it that bad? They feed the algorithm for you. More comments more better?
Something interesting is that at least two accounts (The ones that I checked) have uploaded videos that are at least 10 years old. I guess youtube is monitoring newly created profiles, but not the old ones as much.

YouTube should spend way more time on this and deceptive ads. Instead they delete channels with legit content that for some reason YouTube thinks is bad.
Bots on YT have always been an issue. Most who use things like Google Ads turned off anything coming from YT years ago.
I'd think there would be a way to block the IP address and/or detect certain common data that could be automatically filtered out…
I'm logged in and youtube shows me "this video is age restricted". This platform is a joke.
It will not go away as long as the US doesn‘t give women similar rights on their tits that the music industry has on their bloody music. A company who can create content match can fix that in a Friday afternoon if they wanted.
