Welcome back i'm joe and we're here with the trike again last video you saw us ride it around and pop some wheelies and in this video it's time to finally finish this thing up. So the first thing we have to do is probably the most major and important thing is to add some bearing hangers kind of close to our wheels here to take some of those forces off of the center of our diff. This next things we need to do are prep it and then paint it, and we also have a couple changes, courtesy of go power sports. We have this really nice silver and black striped seat, and we have some cool quilted grips for the handlebars for the paint color we're thinking of going with a silver flake, because we honestly like how it looks with the raw tubing.

And i think that will be a pretty good match so with that being said, let's get into it. These are the handlebars that came with the mini bike frame kit and we're just going to reuse them for the second set of bearing hangers, because they've just been sitting around we might as well, because they have a nice bend in them already so they're just going To be coming off, the frame like this and the bearing hanger will be right here. I'll show you on the side that i already did like so, and the wheel starts right about here. So that'll give us a lot of support against those lateral forces that happen when one side is still and not moving, and the other side is free wheeling we're at the rogue fab.

Tubing. Notcher now got our angle going 85 degrees, and this will be for the other side. Now before i go weld up this bearing hanger. I just wanted to take a moment to talk about the welder we use, which is a hobart handler 140..

I've been using this for three or four years now, so, probably all the videos you've seen all the cool projects we've done have been welded with this welder right here we chose it because it's pretty economical, there's, not a lot of prep work required. It's quick and easy and it gets the job done. So that's why we love this thing and hobart was kind enough to send us some welding safety packages. We got the gloves, jacket, face, mask and goggles and that'll help us stay safe while fabricating and welding in the shop.

So big. Thank you to them, make sure to check out their whole range of products and welders because they make some really good stuff. And we love using it so now, let's weld so now that we've got those rear support wings on there. We can start tearing this thing down, so we can put a nice coat of paint on it off camera.

We cut and notch these little support bars to reinforce our bearing hangers and they just got to get welded in and then it's time to scuff everything up and paint it all right. We're going to do our first coat of our main color, which is this 316 stainless steel that looks pretty cool. It's got like a nice flaky appearance too. So let's shoot this piece and see how it comes out.

So man look at that radius popping it. What else did i do back flip how's? She run wow yeah. I think super nice. It's really a pleasure to drive um.
I think we need to up the gearing a little bit get a little bit higher speed. It really kind of just hits top speed pretty quickly, but i mean it's kind of fun, having a wheelie machine being able to bounce around front suspension, as you all probably saw when i was bouncing, it works great, i'm just really happy with it. It exceeded my expectations in every way and it looks sick now so yeah, it's cool, so um.
