Okay, so I really hope you liked the last video of our hem X find where we got to take it out and ride it with some of our other mini bikes and stuff. I have to say that our original intent of this bill was to do like a full cosmetic restoration. Take everything down, repaint everything, respray the tank new decals. But honestly, the kind of this bike is really growing on me, as is it's really nice to have something to rip around? That's like guilt-free, if you scratch it stuff, like that, I mean we don't want to trash on it, but also it's nice to have something.

That's not completely pristine with that being said, this thing definitely deserves a cleanup and full mechanical restoration aside from the engine and stuff, so we have new tires new inner tubes, new front and rear brakes. We're gon na throw a new chain on it and I think it's a safe assumption that this thing has hardly ever been cleaned, since it was new, believe it or not. The growth the rims are actually korone, they're just completely covered up, and you can take a look at like the shops and stuff they're just completely black. So I think this bike can really go through a transformation with just a little bit of elbow, grease and cleaning.

It up whoo, that's going to be basically what this video is all about, just a basic cleanup and maintenance and then we'll be able to take it out. We found some awesome trails on Lake Texoma that this thing is going to be perfect for it's crazy. What a little bit of elbow grease can do. This thing looks amazing, as you can see, the old tire was really really dull.

Actually, I didn't even know this Chrome under here until I looked at some picture that has aluminum or something so this room looks awesome. I went through and hit every single spoke with steel wool. I started taking them out, but like taking out every spoke probably would have taken like all day. So now let's get the new tire in this and we can do a side-by-side of the old rims and the new ones all right.

So here's the stock exhaust over keeping it's really gunked-up, so we're gon na take this plate off clean it up and then respray it with some exhausting hi. So here's our really really nice clean foam rims going on it's amazing. What a little bit of elbow grease is for those sweet, so we'll do the front and run the change, but we're getting close to driving this thing are draining. Our Forks is filling the fork oil.

So with these all bolt it back up together and put them back on the bike cool. Oh, she did have a rip and it's kind of looking nasty, so we did get a new seat cover, so this should actually be super easy. It just kind of like normal seats, you have to staple it, but this just kind of has little pins on it. So this should be super easy to change out.

Okay, so I got the push rod bent up and the clamp shut up. So there we go see, it is on and the bike is pretty much done. The final step of this is our gold chain can go power. Sports this stuff is killing.
Oh, hopefully, it's long enough. We also can daisy chain a couple together. It's not going to work, but I think on the white red and black combo. This is going to look super good, we're out here at Lake Texoma and we're pretty excited because for the first time we're gon na rip the MX.

Now that has been cleaned up and restored a little bit and the Siege a bike. So, let's get to it right, yeah, definitely not the best shoes for these terrain they made the amphibious, but they are not rock proof. Alright, that was a lot of fun text. Home was beautiful, the MX and the siege, a bike boasted really well, I will admit like so having something for like a mini bike, but the torque converter is really good for like the kind of narrow, ATV trails, but the MX is really nimble.

I don't know you drove that mechs a lot. What do you think yeah so comparatively the C JPEG was like way more stable way easier to like man, the throttle and all that stuff, but the MX was more nimble kind of. If you wanted to pick a line, you could easily pick a line but having to deal with the clutch and shifting and all that was a lot more to think about and did make it a little bit harder and also we're not that experienced with this type Of stuff, so a little bit more experience, my help MX really went full circle in this video. It looks beautiful now I think, a lot of the shots.

We got look incredible especially out over the water here. So, thank you guys so much for watching be sure to subscribe. See you next time.

I have the exact same bike that I got from a junkyard and I’m doing a restore. I’m having trouble finding the whole seat itself and I have no luck at all

Great job on the bike, I had this exact model when I was a kid in the 80's and drove it everywhere…even right into the side of my Dad's car! Thanks for the memories gents!

Currently own same exact bike. Still runs as well. Mine doesn't smoke much either? The pump does work, but it just doesn't use much oil… 🤷‍♂️

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gix Gix says:

You need to decoke the pipe. Either use an oxy to burn all the old oil or set it on a fire. Then paint it.

Fresh piston and rings will make a world of difference, it will take you about an hour to do👍😉. Oh man… a set of Ohlins shocks, a Bills pipe, better forks……that little beauty would be trick!

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars m says:

did you bbq the exhaust pipe? because being a 2-stroke they build up carbon inside an restrict the flow after a while, an being a old bike i bet it is plugged up some. that will increase power also. bbqing the pipe is easy, start a fire in a pit an lay pipe on top, it will get hot enough to start burning off the carbon inside an will shoot flames out the ends like a blow torch, once it stops shooting flames remove from fire an let it cool down, then shake the pipe to knock out any loose carbon. then repaint an good as new!

hey guys here is a little i figured out years ago playing with ATVs and dirt bikes etc the Harbor Freight small wheel manual tire changer bolted to a old wood pallet is a nice stand t hold the wheels for you when you are doing something like steel woofing all the spokes or whatever using it to change tires is okay but can get frustrating as hell the trick for that is really applying soapy solutions way more liberal than you think you need i’ve used it more for trailers tires and someATVs it’s more helpful getting tires off the rims the on IMO although i actually do want to buy a pneumatic/ hydraulic machine and balancer combo that are priced pretty decently from importers of two post car lifts and scissor lifts you can find on Ebay and other online venues a common named one is Tiumph ? all built in China of course

Can you buy elbow grease on Amazon? Whatever that stuff is it looks like it works pretty good.

Great job looks fun 👍I remember cruising my little 66cc two stroke bike on the back roads

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tyler Coates says:

Keep the revs up on the old 2-smokes guys, they love to rev and don't like being bogged down. It'll sound like it's falling apart, but that's just what they like.

Sweet vid!! Where at texoma? We have a place on the Oklahoma side. Those trails looked pretty sweet. I might have to check them out!

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Colton Baird says:

That thing being a two stroke I would keep it a little higher in the rpm’s because it’ll foul out the plug faster just poking it around like that

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hola! Ughblah says:

Yall need to do a manco American express 1.0 drifter kart. It would get a lot of views there is not a single one on youtube of a full build

The vid was awesome, bike looks great. I recommend Rocky ridge ranch near Decatur area I may be too far for yall but I have gone there a couple time and It has been nothing very fun if you go, bring any off-road things you have.
