You MUST make a 2 minute video (no longer!) explaining how you can make use the scope. Show us your lab, show us your projects, show us your hacker space etc and tell us why you should get it.
You don't have to appear on camera in the video if you don't want to.
Post your video in this EEVblog forum thread:

Hi yes, it's giveaway time again because look what I found in the dumpster. It just keeps on giving this magical dumpster with this I've got a slightly slightly crusty used a rodent Schwartz our PB to double O four fantastic scope touchscreen 10-bit ADC and so absolute killer touch screen with on-screen annotation and logic analyzer and I get managed to salvage all the probes as well. So I'm going to be giving this away, but it's not going to be just the usual a random giveaway, it's going to be a little bit different. I Want to go to someone who can you know really is in use of a very nice scope like this? So what? I want to do? I'll link down below to an Eevee blog forum thread where I interested in a getting or having a chance to get this thing.
but I want you to post in the thread end and make a two-minute video no longer than two minutes two minute video explaining why you should get it. It could be a like a tour of your lab. It could be a show. Show us what project you're working on or whatever projects you've done and things like that and why you might need it.
I Don't know, you're a youngster, you're working on stuff in there, you know, or you're working on real advanced stuff and this thing would be you know, absolute Killer for debugging your mixed-signal project or whatever it is. Um, two minute video uploaded on where everyone you can be on YouTube it can be Vimeo It can be no odd, no anywhere else. as long as you can embed the video in the eevblog of forum thread which I'll link in down below and the lucky recipient arm will be well I will judge it and so will David as well. David - I will pick a worthy winner just on a whim.
Whoever we think is you know most deserving and can use a really cool scope like this. So there you go arm there will be. You will be like if you're in a country where there's import restrictions and stuff like that, not much I can do about that so you might have to pay sort of import duty or whatever it is in your particular country I Can't can't avoid that. It's all tricky with all different countries, shipping stuff and things like that.
But anyway, if you want to win this baby, say very very nice scope even though it is it used. It comes with all the stuff: 300 megahertz, 4 channel mixed signal touchscreen 10-bit ADC Very very nice. Anyway, submit your video down below and you can be in with a chance of getting this puppy. Amazing what you find in the dumpster these days.
Incredible. Anyway, um yeah, good luck. catch you next time.
Hi do you have a video of curve tracers and applications, please update me
greeting!
need your advice.
I have a choice between two models, but there is no opportunity to test near.
1) R & SยฎRTB2004- (Rohde & Schwarz) 300MHz
2) SDS2304X- (siglent) 300MHz
In which the model TRANSITION CHARACTERISTIC is closer to the analog oscilloscope in the form
(square pulse)
thank
It's pronounced Roady mate. Trust me it's my last name
U gave it away before doing whole review and take it apart Dave? I would love to look into it in depth.
hope tp get one
I found a microwave and a huge stack of new envelopes recently……swap?
who is winner?
What's the current draw on an oscilloscope like that? I need to run one off an inverter so I can measure the pulse width for an electronically controlled automatic transmission.
Come on Dave, give us the winner! ๐
Have you decided who won? I have not found any signs of official result at EEVblog forum.
(1) So who won it? (2) On a side, can people tell me of any other channels that make (or have made) accelerator cards for the Amiga and similar? I know there is the TerribleFire channel and GadgetUK164 who modifies the aca1220 (IndividualComputers) so much it is almost like "making" them (same with RetroGameModz, ModernVintageGamer,ModdedByBacteria, Mark Furneaux, Lukemorse1). However, there needs to be more "from scratch" construction IMO (not just installs and reviews) and I'm sure it exists and I'm missing out. Closest I can find on TheRetroHour is Ben Heck and Jeri Elsworth but it's not quite the same as inventing and making amiga accelerators.
I cant post my video. The forum returns 502 error. Please help
LOL, HE'S GONNA GIVE IT TO A FAKE RECEIVER SO IT COMES BACK TO HIM. THIS IS JUST TO GET MORE SUBS HAHAHAH FAAAAKE
I'm designing circuits connected to a raspberry pi to investigate quantum mechanics. It's a physical computing project. (I need a scope and a miracle).
Excellent idea! Count me in!
Hey Dave I already have a scope. I really hope it goes to a gifted individual that doesn't necessarily have the funds to acquire such a nice piece of equipment!
ะั ะฐ ะณะดะต ะถะต ะตะณะพ ัะฐะทะฑะพัะบะฐ ? ) (Hey, where is it's teardown ?))
So many plugs and advertising…
Show me that dumpster!
Could you give away the $300k oscilloscope?
I wish i won this but i'd never be able to use it to it's full capabilities.
Cheers to whomever this goes to.
The golden dumpster!
just remember. the dumpster giveth, and the dumpster taketh away.
Wow, another contest I can't possible win or even enter! I really hate these phone giveaways! Just for that I'm turning off the ads!
I think its a good thing to give it to someone who would put it to good use. I don't have the level of skill to use that properly so I won't try entering.
Maybe you should make the conditions of entering be the ability to reference the videos. Good to note what brilliant projects might be out there and the finer points of why such a scope is needed. The technical side that "young players" like myself may not fully appreciate.
Everyone who thinks that Dave REALLY gets this equipment out of the garbage, close your eyes and clap for Tinkerbell.
I plan to enter, traveling with the GF this 4th f july but expect a video monday of our lab. I just gave back two rental units yesterday and one was this scope! Love the Interface ๐
