In this video we show our process of mocking up the engine in order to figure out where to weld the motor mounts as well as where to place the engine in a motor swap. Here we are welding in motor mounts to our Jeep CJ for a Chevy 350 h.o. crate motor.

I haven't seen these mounts available. Maybe an old product that has since been replaced? Awesome build!
Great! Where can I order same Engine?
Any chance you remember the part numbers on the moter mounts and brackets
Nice!! Just dropped a 350 in my 55 Willy
Good job on your project. But remember, it's easier to weld from bottom to up on your vertical welding. But you did a good job. Now, go check out my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ General Lee here on Youtube. I've been in "the same boat" as you doing a SBC conversion into a Jeep Wrangler!
What radiator is that
Awesome
I used a Ford 5.0 in my '85, even used the Fox Mustang headers and they fit inside the frame rails. Was going to use the T5 that came in it but decided to use an Advanced Adapters C4 for the automatic switch. The 5.0 is smaller than the Chevy and all the serpentine belt drive stuff comes on it.
That dist. Cap is almost on the firewall . Not enough gap .
What transmission and transfer case did you use?
What year is the jeep
You better pressure wash under and around that thing and spray it with eastwood rust converter. Or you are going to be replacing lots of body panels soon.
Never weld downhill vertical.
Nicely done
Looking good guys. What brand header? Part number? How did you find out which one to use?
