In this video our newly restored 1981 Jeep CJ-7 gets a ton of cool electronic upgrades. This includes a brand new MSD digital ignition system, Wake tower speakers in a Jeep, led floor lights, and much more! The MSD ignition system for this 5.7L Chevy 350 swap in this CJ made it not only run better, but have better response and instant cold starts. We also installed some Rockville wake tower speakers for the CJ and they sound really good. We then show you how to install some auto zone led floor lights that really brighten up the interior. All of these upgrades help the Jeep get one step closer to being 100%.

If you like the music be sure to check out my buddies sound cloud for this song along with a bunch of other sick guitar.

Hopefully the next chapter of the CJ build will involve some lift shackles, extended brake lines, and removing some of the leaves in the springs so we can get some more flex!

What kind of engine do you have in your jeep?
I installed a thermostat controlled switch to my rad fan…
What radiator did you use?
oh this was painful to watch…..at least while I have yet to get my hands on a clean CJ all I'm thinking is "another one bites the dust"……but if I had to go all horror show on a CJ, this is kind of stuff I'd want to do – love the toggle switches so good job on that – upgrade your drill game though for sure.
Your rear shackle angles are way off.
when you notice that the switch holes aren't level
Looking good and bad ass may not be strong enough words for this build.
What rear bumper are you using? Receiver hitch for pulling or hooking to? Just curious.
Thanks for the videos
Hey man, I have a CJ5 and installed the same radio and it works fine when itโs not running but when I start it the radio makes a loud popping sound and shit, how did you wire the power wiring and whatnot with this radio?
How is the 350 running? How many miles do you have on it now? Would you buy the same motor again? Getting ready to buy one myself.
Hello ,bro where can i Buy that system sound complete?
That drill lol.
Jeep Cjs are trucks, not cars.
Get a new drill
Amplifier name ??
Jeep looks awesome ๐. Some 2" wheel spacers would give it a wider stance and look sweet. Music sounded real good, clean and crisp, nice.
Where did you purchase the side steps? I just bought a '74 CJ5 today and I love the minimalist look….
Do you guys have a parts list for this build? I'm interested in doing something like this and I'd love to see what you bought and were. Great job by the way. Outstanding work.
Bro i have an 84 cj7. Looking for Both driver and pass seat and center cosole combination. I like your set up of what did u use?
A guy wants to trade a 73 Jeep cj5 3sp 4*4 for my 07 Saturn Vue should I trade
Awesome Jeep and very well building. Congrats guys!!๐
Its a very nice JEEP. The color is sweet. I'm wondering why all the dash upgrades weren't done when the rebuild was happening? You put me in physical pain when you drilled through the dash. its disappointing not seeing the glove box. where do you keep your gloves?!
I like the cheap Tractor Supply box to keep some things locked and out of sight.
