Is the pocket multimeter teardown/shootout still on your list? Would be very interesting to see if they are actually any good ones in the bunch for using on the mains.
To be fair, most of us Americans realize the metric system is superior. It's just the standard system is so ingrained in our everyday lives that it's next to impossible to switch (we've tried). It's like when you're first learning a new language. You have to translate in your head; you don't just understand it like your native language. And we're used to working with standard units, so the non-decimal conversions hardly phase us.
Also, we do use metrics for anything science, engineering, or research oriented.
What about using an adaptive filter you know the type one microphone plugs into the wanted signal input and the feed from the microphone that samples the unwanted signal and feeds the noise side of the filter should result in a clean signal without the noise that is annoying you. A socket wrench might help you if you can get the right size of head, as to the subject of toothed belts there was a company called Beltzer GMBH.
Yaaa, Yaaa, go ahead and whinge about the Imperial system, make fun of 'Merican Pride 'n' Politics, but when the sun sets at the end of the day, you STILL don't know how to pronounce a-LUM-in-um
Bonne appétie dave et pas mal ton labo dit dont tes drolement équiper un jours tu va nous faire une grand fusé comme sa on changera de planet moi aussi je suis intéréser de l'électronique
I'm only half way through but you don't need two belt tensioners on each rail the screws your missing are being used. I'm sure you will find that you have some extra short screws
I don't know if you only do only 720P but I have been doing 1080P on my streams at 30 frames. So yeah Youtube will allow streaming in 1080P as my stream videos are evidence of that. 🙂 Just thought I'd let you guys know and every one else know that might not know for YouTube streaming.
5 Hours of video and then what? What happened to the thing? I had to watch this thing in stages, couldn't pull through the hours at one launch. Pause and play.
Packing and shipping does suck, I have to do it for the rest of the goons at the office. They expect a button that says SHIP and it is all done. If shipping alone sucks, imagine how much it sucks if it were temporary import or export. Now that sucks even harder if not more.
ubnuntu is A heavy whale, but it has so many things out of the box that makes it neat. Debian is really balanced and well managed. And arch linux is this amazing barebones setup to get started. thumbs up if you agree!

Dave, you have a great assistant there. Stop whining all the time. You sound like a pome. 😉

I'll have to be completely honest. These videos are treating my insomnia quite nicely.
Dave and Dave, for god sake don't you have a tap and a drilling machine and some grease make threads like pros would lol 🙂
Like many other people I believe the contents of this video could have been cut down to 5 minutes or less.
