Hi Dave, could not agree more I have my Victorinox Minichamp since 2012 paid $42 and I use it every day. Absolutely awesome EDC best value for money spent. For flashlight I use my HTC phone. My EDC awesome watch is CASIO GA-100-1A2 G-SHOCK black/blue. I am not electronic engineer but I am electronics technician and I am glad that you have same EDC stuff. Love EEVblog keep up the good work. Thank you
lol my edc knife is a custom 6 inch latchless balisong. double edged, serrated one side straight on the other. Instead of a latch, the handles have steel spikes from a seatbelt cutter.
(comment 2) sorry for harassing you a year after your comment, but i did a little further digging. if you google "Devon man faces jail for raping girls" youll find a little more information on the man the daily mail was painting as a victim.
if you google "Rodney Knowles" the man arrested, there is an article by this is devon in which the police explain their reason for arrest. it was not a swiss army knife at all. it was a part serrated, locking buck whittaker knife. knowles's defence in court tried to describe it as "a swiss army style knife". this was a story originally printed by the daily mail and is a prime example of their nonsense. you cant believe a word they print.
Now that you've had a chance to use the flash light for a while… what kind of typical run times are you getting with Alkaline, NiMH, Lithium batteries under normal use?
I also carry a Victorinox knife called a "Farmer". I love it. It's a little special in that it has red Alox side covers. (I tried to post a link to pictures of it but can seem to)
"knives with folding blades, like Swiss Army knives, are not illegal as long as the blade is three inches long (7.62 cm) or less" – From direct.gov. That non locking (slip joint) and under 7.62cm thing is what makes them legal. The only exception is if you use it in an 'offensive way' in which it becomes illegal again.
Almost all Swiss Army Knives are UK legal as they're slipjoint folders with a blade length under 72mm. You can take it anywhere you like without any reason besides wanting to take it.
I wish i could carry a swiss army knife in the UK but you have to be very careful over here as if the police catch you with it on public property then you can be arrested, even if you just leave it in your car it is still a crime. Last year a disabled 61 year old man got arrested for chopping his apple with one in a park.
Why Fenix TK70 using 10,000mah D battery, on with Turbo mode also have 5-10 sec later kick down power lock issue to below 1400++ Lumen?
Who has the True Prove Video to show us that Fenix TK70 using 10,000mah fully charge D battery does not have this Kick down power issue when on turbo mode for 1-2min.
Who can Dare Prove it? Who!!! Anyone? "Or just want to cover up this TK70 Major Flaws" is True.
I'll stick with my solar keychain flashlight with 3 LED's on ebay or aliexpress ~$1, better incase I break or loose it 🙂

hi, my friend Beth wants you to crawl into her bed. let me know if you're up for it, she's an animal.
I always carry a victorinox deluxe tinker with me, as it has both the scissors and pliers in a small size.

They are technically illegal to carry here in Australia.

Are you sure as, I have been told that any knife counts as an offensive weapon and is illegal to have in public.

Dave try the victorinox flashlight I suppose the LED is the same for both
@syncmaster710n14 We have anti-knife laws here too, but thankfully there are many reasons to carry one, and peeling fruit is one of them!

20 months and no "that's not a knife" comment? I am disappoint.

if u like the fenix, check out the new 4sevens preon and preon revo.
also the zebralight h501 (AA) is very nice.
If you take the cap of a white or translucent chap-stick tube, it will fit perfectly on the top of the light and act as a diffuser or "candle mode"
i had two knifes like that and they are brilliant
@Supermassively I'll take that as a compliment, thanks!
try ITP EOS A3 same perfomance half the price of fenix . i have ITP A3 it runs on cr123 but output is 203 lumens.
I loved you comment on the button cells being rubbish. Nice!
what performance would you get if you modded this and put an XP-G in it??
Great review btw love your accent
How often do you whack it in your pocket? lol
