Done.
I dont have an uncle named Bob??? 🤦♀️
Pleos are cool. The skin on ours has deteriorated, but he still works. The battery pack is 6xAA NiMh, but later versions used a LiPo pack which was compatible but used a different charger. Ours likes dancing to music and eating his leaf. He also likes being stroked and tickled under the chin. When he goes to sleep it is usually because the battery pack is getting low.
I know this is a comment on an old post, but I saw the pleo on a shelf behind you on a recent video and was curious, so I searched for it. 🙂
"His school is stress full" I would be stressed out too if i was wasting life in a school that would seriously let me orientate for the future job perspective being a youtuber. They really only teach monsoons to dumb the minds these days.
I think that kid's juice box sat on the front porch too long and fermented a bit.
Wow my date code (if I where an IC) would be 8108 so I was only about 12 weeks old when that chip was manufactured.
Oh, man. I could have used one of those Fluke network tools back when I was doing tech at my school. They didn't want to shell out for a proper tester, so all I had was the box with the 8 blinking lights to let me know if my Cat5e cable was intact.
What accent does Ryan have? I'm pretty terrible with identifying them, but it me it sounds almost more American than Australian.
Hahaha, when you powered up that dino it seemed like it realized that it was skinned and slowly dying.
I would be VERY surprised if that kid achieves a "youtube career". I love your videos, Dave, but I had to cut this one short because he is extremely annoying and has an absolute lack of any resemblance of charisma
Sega will put it in a game, lol. Bet he wont be getting asked back.
These bible games Ryan is talking about with the lockout chip and such was for SNES, not N64. It's at least what I remember AVGN said. Anyway, great to see another one who watches AVGN!
he is cinda cute
Love this very interesting.
i love all the television transmitters and modulators among other neat toys you have, have you ever considered trying to broadcast a video over analog signals to an old analog TV in your room/building just for kicks/fun?
can someone send me some stuff at my adrees plz 2774 Glenn ave Apt 1 90023 los angeles california
maybe Pleo's touch sensors designed to work with its skin, not direct touch ?
P.S. signal port on the Simens invertor must be for remote control (on/off, speed setting, direction setting) as usual on other invertors. buttons on inverter itself used for initial settig of motor parameters.
I had two Pleos and could never get them to work properly. First one seemed senile, second one walked in circles.
So it was money back time. Sad really, could have been good.
Pleo cost 10 million dollars to develop?? I smell embezzlement.. 😉
Nice touches there Dave.
kill it, kill it with fire before it lays eggs!!!
I still love the 50p pictures! They look real CRT like.
Cute teenager, I can barely remember being like that, a long time ago. Love computers and tech, but actually in the medical field, which I like also, trauma, ICU. Love your show.
