If you bother to compare, there was, indeed, a fair amount of redesign of the boards from one to another.

I always wondered about that… When I tear things down, they seldom ever work again! Good to see that scope still alive! Winner? Chicken Dinner!

I have pale colors in videos with Chrome (html5) and normal colors with IE (flash player). Does anybody have the same? (win7 64)

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Matt Beddow says:

I bet that extra chip is a usb hub tied into the exsting USB port and the touchscreen is an off the shelf usb driver…

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stephen Woods says:

I have never completed a project of any non trivial  size without leaving some small quantity of my blood somewhere on it.   R/C Aircraft and boats all involve unforgiving Xacto knives (scalpels) and T-pins, electronics (sharp wires), or metal work (sharp edges and burrs).

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars gudenau says:

The new chip is a USB hub, the host and touch screen controller go into it.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rubus Roo says:

is mixed signal the same as mixed domain?

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars theonlyari says:

Why does it seem that HP/Agilent/Keysight changes name every decade?

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brooo007MC says:

It took your blood! It's a vampire!

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Necessaryevil 86 says:

Is that high-speed whistling when you put the oscilloscope back together?

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars NOoXlab says:

Great teardown but what is that in the end, in the speed up part ? Is that whistling?
