This time for some HP ProLiant ML330 and ML110 G6 servers with Xeon processors.
Will they work?
What should Dave do with them?

Done.
I have a HP Proliant ML330 G6.
It's great! I upgraded it to an x5660 and 18GB of RAM. It also has a 750ti.
Hello Good morning how are you Thank you for your video I wanted to know if you have the latest firmware for the HP proliant ml110 G6 server. my phone number is +51917342201
Hello you have the firmware of server ml110 g6…? My number is +51917342201
that big(er) server is worth $200-$300
Just where are you dumpster diving to get this stuff?
Awesome score. I'm currently running a Proliant ML350 g6, with the dual Xeon x5675's at 3.07 ghz and 30 gigs of ram. Its a juggenaut and can handle whatever I throw at it, of course the Radeon RX Vega is required for the games. I manage to buy mine from a recycler and about 3 more after haha.
i got the hp proliant ml350 g6 dual socket the new owner didnt know what to do with it from a bank that closed down, luckly i was their in time to let them know if they dont want it ill take it home before they tossed it out..and it is a beast! stuck in 72gig of ddr3 ecc memory from a recycle facility i held on to for 1 year 🙂
Haitch-pea u say mate?
I used to use the Dell version of this kind of machine when i did solidworks design.
Those arent servers, those are engineering workstations.
The hell kinda dumpster has this in it?
A small server like that could be a great media server or even run a small network for a like small business with 10 or 20 users. I got a 330 like that and it weights like 80 pounds
This is belloni, Im still running a xeon X5670 bought it this year, this is fake.
blablabla run it insted
Wow…. Yesterday I found an Asus VivoBook X202e toutchscreen netbook with a 500gb HDD 3rd Gen Core i3 3217U CPU and 4gb RAM Unfortunately soldered on but works fine for watching videos like these. There was NOTHING wrong with it! I bypassed the windows 10 password on the previous install and it was slow as a snail so I just reset it with a clean install of windows 10 and it works fine! I might get a Samsung 860 EVO 512 GB or 1 TB SSD for it though. I can't believe people throw away things like this that have easy fixes like this.
Deve you are so lucky, i love to dive but my machines are so crap.
i wish to find so
where do you find this stuff i live in nsw
I was given an hp ml115 g1 AMD 1.8 ghz duo the other day much older but it all works fine just did not have hdd or ram.
yes its a Xeon, but there are Xeons you can get for 1.50 GBP, or Xeons you can get for 22,000 GBP. judging by the labels, they look like older generation CPUs, i have had rackmount servers with the same CPUs, for 100 GBP mid-low config.
Not gonna lie, I'm f'n envious of your access to that dumpster room mate. Does it have cameras and has security ever hit you up?
BTW I realise this was 4 years ago now but even in 2018 that'd still be a pretty good find!
crap wished i had a dumpster to dive as that one, yea
