Hi, do you know what chip is responsible for the LCD light? I have a Hero 4 Silver and the light is so dim, almost looks off. Have replaced the LCD but the problem never got solved, I think it has to do something from the board. Any info where to look at would be appreciated, thanks!!

Your video is essentially useless. You did nothing but skip directly over the parts anyone needing to tear this unit down for repair actually needs to see.
"Got the top connector board out.."…what a jackass. You'll spend 10 minutes looking at a shiny CCD, but then just skip over how the hell you are supposed to get the interconnect board screws out without breaking the lens assembly.
i watched the whole thing waiting to see how to replace my rear LCD screen… but it never came..
