Dave goes on a several hundred km adventure in order to completely destroy the Fluke 28-II multimeter.
Short of blowing it up with explosives, will he succeed, or will it live to measure another day?

Fluke is the cat's ass, in multimeters!…I only own Fukes, and they don't cost too much used!
Dave sells Bryman meters now….I wonder if..They…could survive these torture tests! Probably NOT!
Dave, please don't do it again, I cried((
Cool
that's a tough meter for sure, no doubt. so i just bought a used one from ebay, funny thing is, it got some scratches almost identical as yours… oh wait…
F.Y I am in need for that multimeter that you destroy
If this was the 28 II Ex, the inductor most probably would have been fine as it's encapsulated in "goo". 🙂
That inductor is potted in 28 II Ex version, would stay in place…
Just got my Fluke 88V, Im glad I found your channel. Subbed.👍
this is a fluke adv
thumps up for fluke
@EEVblog which canyon was this one?
Now that you know how strong those industrial plastics are, do you still feel bad about plastic screw inserts?
Варвар!

Meanwhile, in the same universe, I destroyed the back of my Samsung phone with a 50cm drop when it slipped from the dashboard and landed on soft leather…
Are all australians this filled with energy?
I think we found the cousin of a samsung bar phone.
Is this the video that earned him the title of the Crazy Aussie Bloke? Just bring a high end multi meter with him while repelling down a waterfall. You can't make that up.
I would love to know exactly how thrilled Fluke was to see it go through all that relatively unscathed.
That's what I would call a Solid State device !
My multimeter is a fluke115 and is very very strong 🙂
take the m5 did you? I'm in the hurstville region
BEST multimeter tests ever hahahahahaha.. =]
Well…. That is a strong Multimeter 0_0
Mine will probably die from a glass of water
Yeah, you will need to test many electronics parts while canyoning 😀
Next Dave takes his Rigol DS1054z canyoning, stay tuned!!!
that was so cool
