Hi guys, Yes, it's nighttime here. We're going on a stealth raid to the garbage room some dumps to diveing nighttime stuff. Secret Squirrel uh one of my uh viewers uh from Germany Kristoff he was here today visiting in the lab. Uh, we thought we'd check out the garbage room.

Yes, the garbage room is now an official destination of choice here in Sydney He'll find it on Trip Advisor soon I'm sure. Anyway, I said oh yeah, let's go check out the garbage room. You know, 9 out of 20 times we don't find anything. Well folks, we found the PC motherload today.

so let's go have a stealth raid. It's late at night, don't think anyone will notice. Let's go here. We go folks.

let's go in before anyone sees us. Let's check it out now. normally. um, you know we'd be lucky if we find like a monitor in here or something like that.

But uh, let's have a quick look what we've got here. just in the actual Ual dumpster. Uh, itself. Check it out.

Looks like we have a UPS Fantastic! So I'm going to score that. It's like cleaners please take rubbish. Thanks! I Will thank you very much I Am the cleaner? yes and under here. let's check it out.

We got a Samsung monitor there we go. sink. Master We'll take that. Oh, we got a whole bunch of these um uh, foot pedal, um um things Again, you remember from the previous videos, those uh, dictation machine things and uh, doesn't look like there's anything else.

Oh yeah, there's a whole bunch of PC stuff in there I've got to check out I haven't checked out any of that yet, but uh, we have a few uh, brand new ethernet cables on the floor here and over here. Check it out, we have a whole bunch of PCS it looks like a some server type stuff to too I don't know exactly what's uh, what's going on here, but uh, we'll have to check these out. These look really ancient I'm not sure about those, but uh, have to have a look at them I don't know. Does anyone recogniz that looks like some big rack server thing? not entirely sure.

uh, gigabyte something like that I don't know that's a Pentium 4 I think what do we got here? It's I don't know Windows XP We'll have a look but anyway, that's not the end of it folks. Watch this behind all the garbage here. Taada Look, there's another two stacks. two stacks of computers.

Look at this. So we got 2, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 PCS in total 23 PCS Unbelievable. We've got some uh Pentium 4 stuff probably not worth taking HP Pavilion I mean 2.5 gig lowly pennium 4 really high power 256 mam 60 G Drive integrated Graphics blah You know another pennium 4 up here, but uh, we do have some uh Core 2 Duo stuff happening in here that's a HP Core 2 Duo could could be worth getting that nice little box another Core 2 Duo down here. and uh, then we got some old Pentium 4S So it looks like predominantly Pentium 4 uh machines.

but I'm going to have to take all of these out. um and uh, have a look at these individually. So oh, absolute motherload. It's going to take me ages to do this and uh, unfortunately.

um, it's uh, a bit late here at night and uh, I got to get home soon. but I hope these things don't go I might take a couple of them. uh, back to the lab. call two Duo ones.

hang on. someone's coming. Does look like a few of these have been uh, Rans sacked. you know, power supply missing stuff like that and uh, in one case there's a motherboard missing and stuff like that.

but uh, the UPS is an APC one. 750 watts by the looks of it. XL so I'll grab that could be good this Intel uh, core to vroo I'll probably grab that for starters. and uh, see how we go.

and then this box here in the dumpster. it looks like we' got a whole bunch of um, there's those dictaphone things again and things like a Uh I that a neopost credit link to modem. Something like that. We got some old Sony tapes.

we got ethernet cables, whole half a dozen mice USB mice. um, not anything terribly exciting down in here. Want a big transformer for the uh, see, that's pretty good I mean that's 16 vol 1 amp linear Transformer it's all in there. look brand new, brand spanking new little um I uh uh, gender changer there and uh yeah I don't know couple things in there.

There might be more stuff right at the bottom of the dumpster. don't know. I'm not going that far. Not that Keen but uh, it does look like I mean um, a lot of these things have either been salvaged, they really are dumped.

PCS I mean this is some sort of uh uh, server rack thing. It's got. uh, look, it's got redundant uh Power Supplies here. by the looks of it, which you pull out, it's got a motherboard in there and some uh, PCI um Express stuff.

so that's fairly new actually. um PCI Express so Time 4 * 8 so that could be a fairly recent uh Beast maybe I don't know. um Can anyone ID that I'm not entirely sure the hard drives are looks like the hard drives are missing out of this thing, but uh yeah, it was some sort of server rack system I don't know I'd probably have to check out the model number before I uh, salvaged that back to the lab, but it looks like a like mostly pennium or PC So unless you're in the market for like Penny and four um stuff I Don't think this mother load is, uh, going to be terribly useful I'm not going to card all these useless cases back to the lab, but that is a lot of machines. Unbelievable.

Oh well. back to the lab. I Got a couple of items at least if we have a look at this. Core 2 V Pro very quickly Windows XP You know it's not new.

it's been stripped if it's hard drive Drive been stripped of its Ram but uh, the processor's still in there and it's reasonably modern. It's got, you know. SATA connections PCI uh Express up to time 16 there? Um, so that's you. know that's not too bad at all.

Uh, presuming it works. and if we go over here, we got our ups I've got it. uh, powered up? well, it's plugged in, but uh, I'm getting absolutely zip on the back of this thing. so uh, unfortunately.

I don't uh, know what's going on with this sucker? So I don't know. Might uh, require a bit of a tear down Anyway, this one I definitely can open as opposed to that, uh, belcon one I got the other day. so yeah, reasonably happy with that. Might be able to score something out of it at least.

So anyway, that's another dumpster dive folks have to leave it for another time perhaps. but that was fun anyway. Nighttime raid yes I did get busted but I just uh made out that I was supposed to be there and I was dumping stuff. Well, I am supposed to be there I own part of the building.

Jeez, you know it's not like I'm not supposed to be there. but I made it out I was dumped it off. he was eyeing off the stuff too. So H may not be there tomorrow, but anyway, got to head home now.
