    i would have attached Analog to Digital Converts to every one of those mics and digitized the signel rather then have a low current go through that long of a cable

    This one was only a low level of around 5-10V for IR. The hydrophones would actually be damaged at 50V. Another model of the system used 500V for the power wires as well.

    Probably spread over 6 months and went though many design and goal post changes.
