Dave, it appears you pulled the links, as they probably disappeared as well. Searches for NEC uC datasheets produce anything from 16 pages to 763 pages. Aughh…
i always feel that, since documentation isn't an essential part of a product, cases where the docs are good means that the product itself is probably pretty descent. no one's going to spend a lot of time documenting a poor product.
I've noticed that "unbelievably bad" and "unbelievably good" evoke the same reaction, rapid exhalation! I've had my laugh at this, but seriously, I am enjoying your vblogs.
Hi Dave, there are these things right that were invented a long long time ago that will probably give as much excitement and enthusiasm as you have for these one page datasheets. They're called "Sheilas"! Might wanna check 'em out ๐
Pretty amazing video ๐ I also love simplicity. It reduces time required to quickly learn the new uC. Toshiba and Fujitsu also produces some insane uC's that nobody (i mean, few guys) might have touched.
I recently got to use a Rabbit semiconductor single-board computer for a project, and they had a similar poster (a bit larger than what you've shown from NEC) and I had the same impression: awesome!
nice!
Canโt find it anymore…
whats the website for this?
An oldie, but undoubtedly a goodie.
a 'cheat-sheet' on steroids! Does it come with a magnifying glass? ๐
I would like to add a little word to the start of this video: HI!!!
Wow that's so cool! ย My last design had an Intel chip with a 1700+ page manual. ย Would have loved this sheet for that thing!

Should we call this "Documentatiophilia"? ๐ย
Dave's in love with 80 pin flatpack

Two people clearly need new glasses when clicking the *thumbs up* button ๐

he is driven crazy by pdfs…
I think that's just what "trawling" sounds like with an accent. ๐
@TheMrHwarang Yes. There are many meaning for the word trolling. Are you going to have a giggle when I say I wear thongs?
If someone did that for any popular microcontroller I would buy them in a breeze.
Dave is a kid!
@truhlikfredy That's likely!
you probably inhaled the solder smoke for way to long ๐

Whoa, that's gorgeous!
