Done.
They are a complex beast, I pulled a few very old ones apart, they had 3 huge 100v ac induction motors, it a massive ei transformer 1.5kva? it had a 7kv dc 0.8ma hv smps also. huge metal drum, over 100kg machine
I remember when I started my traineeship with a photocopier company back in 2005 I was given a photocopier to pull apart. After I had finished they told me that I had to put it back together. I thought they were joking but they were serious. So Dave. Put it back together.
how many stepper motors did u get from that photocopier? u must have concentrated on the steppers and steel 8mm rods from it bcoz its a must have parts in 3d printer?

Which camera do you use for your main filming? Seems pretty decent.
Play the video backwards and you're OK mate!
Now rebuild it
Watch Dave put togeather machine from scraps. watch it backwards 😛
I think you are looking for motor to play with……
The music is kinda intense…
So what parts and 'stuff' did you end up keeping?
Cool music.
Mike's that other bloke with a funny accent.
The music is from my video edit software Corel VideoStudio. I can tweak it in various ways by adding and removing various parts of the instrumentals etc. So it's effectively unique.
that was epic.
Mike?
play the video in reverse. easy
i can tear things down just as fast… however it usually results in a LOT more broken parts and the occasional 1/4 – 1/2 stick of TNT
Wow, you're just awesome!
Thats alot of work O.o
guess now we know why they're so expensive.
Thumbs up if someone sent it hoping to star the "Mailbag" episode
Now put it back together…
