We test both man and machine as we embark on our most difficult to make video yet!
In this video we not only conclude one of our most fun builds yet, but we also take on an incredible and dangerous feat of driving this sketchy homemade amphibious vehicle across Lake Texoma in hopes of crossing from Texas to Oklahoma only using the amphibious go kart! Previously we made a floating go kart using only a paddle board and a bunch of go power sports parts with big aspirations, and after adding a 1963 Evinrude Lightwin motor, we knew it was possible! Thank you guys so much for watching and sticking with us through this journey and we are super excited for whats to come!

good job
Whatโs the intro song called or did he make it?
I think this build should be continued, awesome weird ass vehicle!
fun adventure thumbs up from a old biker self inflicted could end in disaster at any second oh yeah thumbs up
I live 5 miles from lake texoma
What is the name of the intro song?
Hey not bad ik this is old but I havent been on y'all's channel in a while but i live in Sherman and I go to lake texoma quit a bit
You need to make it where you donโt have hand steer the boat motor
Im from Oklahoma so technically im supposed to hate you since you're from texas but I just cant do it, as long as you ain't a longhorn Im subscribed!!
What is your intro song
I would probably get a bigger prop and raise the motor but what ever is easier for u guys
Has anyone suggested a gear driven prop powered by the Briggs and Stratton engine?
You should build sides so the water can't get in and damage the motor
What is your intro music?
Should put a straight axle on
Pretty sure I threw a half full Gatorade on that lake from about 7k feet.
if you changed the tires you ones for like sand almost like a paddle tire and made a steering mech for the motor you could pilot it while sitting and run both motors and thrust forward more
Glider kart!
Dope
your outboard is sitting too low down in the water so you are losing a good bit of propulsion out of your motor where the outboard frame fastens to your chassis you should hinge it so you can adjust the depth as you go and find the sweet spot and straiten up your floats and keep them further to the back
Where are they from
Every video you guys get crazier and crazier๐
are you on the red river
Pit two motoris for the water
Honestly, for your next build try raising the outboard a bit higher. Your mounts should be about 15 inches at least above the water line, exhaust port should be above water. It's causing restrictions and killing your performance, otherwise an awesome build. Especially on a short timeline.
Glad the motor worked out for you guys, better than sitting in my garage collecting dust! Keep the ideas flowing, the wrenches turning, and check out TAMSCC when you get down to aggieland!
The engine is only on choke
