In this video the Jeep gets painted Anvil, which is a blue grey color that comes stock on Wranglers. After the frame came back from powder coating, we made it a rolling chassis by installing the leaf springs and axles and adding brand new 33 inch general grabber x3's to the rims which greatly complements the anvil. We also bolted on the entire front clip and windshield in order to perfect the body lines and to make sure it can all be painted in one piece.

Nice rig! Is that single stage paint or two stage! Great videos.
I love the anvil color. Was thinking about getting my Jeep kk painted anvil. What did macco charge you for that paint job?
Sweet. You could paint my cj7 any time.
Why didn’t you just paint it yourself, you obviously got a nice setup in that shop

I've watched your whole playlist like 3 times, thanks for putting it out there and documenting so well! Question: What did the prep and paint cost? I am pricing out my jeep project (1981 CJ7) and trying to make sure I'm not getting hustled somewhere.
Is this a boxed frame or double C section conversion?

This looks amazing! Loving the series so far, really informative. Did you get the axels powder coated as well? They looked really clean when you were putting them back in.
