Here comes the part we've all been waiting for....reassembly! In this video the jeep transforms from a rolling shell into an almost complete running car. We install our custom roll bar, side steps, and rear bumper first. Then we install the engine in the Jeep...the Chevrolet Performance 333 hp 350 H. O. turnkey motor, which should really make this thing into a total beast. After installing the motor, we have to fabricate custom clutch linkage as well as modify the brakes for our power brake master cylinder install. Then, we install brand new fuel and brake lines as well as a brand new painless wiring harness for the CJ. We then rebuild the rear drum brakes as well as the front disk brakes and the locking hubs. Finally we are able to start up the Jeep and hear that v8 roar for the first time after making an exhaust system.
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for weekly uploads for the next part of this build where we completely wrap this build up and dial in all of the loose ends and take it for its first test drive!

I watch all this from part 1. I will build my own when i get back to philippines. I already contacted the willys production from phil. And they give me nice quotation for the body kit of cj7.

I know you didn't care to much about the body job but just a long block sander and couple other small details and you would have been 80% better with not much more work than you did good work men

There's a secret about installing a fuel pump. There's a bolt in the block under the alternator. Before you remove the fuel pump. Remove the bolt in the block and put a longer bolt in. Replace fuel pump, and put the original bolt back into the block.
    Girl mechanics rock!

The Jeep CJ7 is not a car, It's a quarter ton truck. It's like nails on a chalkboard to heat that. She looks amazing though.

Did the jeep come with AC or did you add it on? If you added it what model jeep did you pull it from? I have a cj5 in Alabama and AC would be nice in the summer around here.

    Great video series!

    nice work, impressive.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bryan K says:

Grab yourself some sealed beam turn signals for the front, it will save you time and money in the long run. They make them that fit in the factory holes without modification, and when smacked by a stick or other object off-road or a tow strap that breaks, they pop through the hole rather than break. They also look great.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars SkySoldier says:

You guys should look into powder coating. It's great for brackets, pullies, and misc parts. Very durable when done well.
