OBSOLETE, RIGOL MSO5000 SERIES HAVE 8 GS PER SECOND !!
GREAT MACHINE FOR BUCK
Nice teardown, great job! This scope looks good but the heatsink of the FPGA really sucks, why they use a TO-220 heatsink?
I really like this teardown. Thanks.
without seeing the price, it is very nice oscilloscope….
Hot snot? Dead giveaway!
Scotty : The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.
Boring, nothing like a lab bench power supply
a 43-minutes worship xD
I think AUX IO 1/2 designed for chain connection of several devices and this type of connection needs termination at the ends. Then they probably changed AUX 2 to the internal terminator so this device only suitable for 1 to 1 connection or it may be at start or at end of the chain.

"No one-hung-lo rubbish! " 🤣👍
Love the documentary.
I wish you hadn't tore this down if it was functioning. I would kill for a DSO in a small form factor like that for hobbyist use.
I know nothing about electrical bits but I love the way you describe everything and the excitement in your voice is like watching a young child opening its Christmas presents, please keep making the videos and best wishes to you from the UK
that was a beautiful video. I watched till the end. So can anybody tell me what oscilloscope does?
what's the processor to process the GUI?
unpopulated GPIB connector on rear
I see Watsu did there.
Beautifully designed!
it looks like an unpopulated HDMI port ..
WOW … you just don't find such engineering in regular consumer goods … people might think it's over-engineered … but boy oh boy that's proper pornography
