Hi just a quick announcement video for the State of Electronics Documentary. Now this thing started was at at least four years back or more because I was in the old lab back then and I'll link in the video if you haven't seen it I carve on Mala who's a documentary filmmaker. He actually came around to my lab and interviewed me for this documentary he's doing on the History of electronics in Australia could State of Electronics and he's finally releasing that and not an easy interview me, but he interviewed my good mate Doug Ford who you've seen on the blog before John Aqsa From Free Tronics, Tricky Dick Smith, Leo Simpson from Silicon Chip Colin Mitchell from Talking Electronics Fame Who I've done some interviews with and he got a whole bunch of other famous people and it's finally releasing this thing as a multi-part a series. So he's already got I think seven or eight different episodes up on his YouTube channels, releasing them all on YouTube and the web site as well State of Electronics Calm which are linking down below and Cole needs everyone's support to get viewing numbers and likes and comments and everything else.

so if you want to watch it, please do. It's awesome Documentary: I Don't know how many parts he's going to end up doing, but he's got tons of material. I mean he got like, you know, an hour's worth of material out of me or something and not to mention everyone else. You've got hours and hours of stories, so who knows how many different videos it means to release in at least one per week at the moment.

I'm not sure what the schedule is, but it's fantastic. So please link down below and subscribe to the YouTube channel. It is a first-class documentary. I've never seen such professionally shot, professionally produced footage is just absolutely brilliant.

So watch it. I'm in it that probably D values that. but anyway, lots of other cool people in it. So excellent.

Cole and sign up to his channel, leave comments, raid it, all that sort of thing. sorry about my voice I am losing it. it's terrible. so that's why I haven't been able to do a video today, but I Will state of electronics calm and the state of electronics YouTube Channel watch it catch you next time.

Hi Dave,Im From Traversecity Michigan USA. As a kid, I used to go with my dad to the local electronics hardware stores when he needed a new vacuum tube or other parts for his projects. He built some awesome linear Amplifiers that would light up a neon tube two foot away from the unit. The FAA actually showed up at the door one day asking for him. He tore it apart and never used it again. He could reach Hawaii on our CB radio with some of his units. I loved going through is boxes of teardowns. I myself enjoy teardown and make projects. nothing to get me noticed by the feds. I think I learned by his actions. Electronics has always held a fascination for me but mathematics were not my strong point. I have always been handicapped in that area because I cant retain numbers in my head. I do have fond memories of my dad standing at the soldering bench putting something new together. I love your show and watch it regularly. I am 55 and have seen many vast changes in the field since I was a kid. Thanks for bringing that kid in me back to the soldering bench. It was your shows that got me back into t eardowns. Now that I am disabled and retired I search dumpsters and stuff for teardown stuff. someday I may send you something ( calculator or something like that)

the 1st few videos I've watch are just too busy… too much jumping around 15 to 30 sec spots for each person and then looping… too much movement, on my 4K almost gave the a feeling of sea sickness. When will videos with full length interviews be posted.

Cheers! as a kid I had one of those 101 electronics kits as well! I used to visit Tandy and DSE and bought kits and parts with my pocket money. Ended up doing EE at TAFE in the 80's & 90's
