Wouldn't your 'component towers' take up WAY more room than an 'aisle' of shelves? Think of the guy with the 'largest component collection in the world' He had his shelves arranged 'library style' 🙂

10 years is the end of useful life for office carpet? HA! Building I'm currently in was built in the mid 80's…SAME carpet. Building I worked in before this one? 40 Year old carpet!!! YES…10 years…LOL…You Aussies…So funny.

I own the same Alesis speakers, they're awesome. Did a quick teardown, circuits look ok, although has ChengX and Yucson smoothing caps… hmmm
It's like the perfect white noise with the occasional dave tid bits. Love It
