Hi just a quick announcement here. I will be away for a good lot of January So what I thought I would do I really suck at actually creating content ahead of time I'm not one of those video bloggers who creates content and then you know has a has a bag of them that I can just slowly release I've never been any good at that sort of thing. although I'll try and do that for when I'm away. I have tried to do that before, ever successfully or unsuccessfully.

anyway. I thought I would try what a few other channels that I follow actually do and it seems to be quite popular. What I'm going to ask for is that other electronics channels out there. if you're a small electronics channel.

What? I thought I'd try is that I would have like a guest videos while I'm away. Um, and please let me know if you think this is a good idea or not. I guess if it's a good if you think it's a good idea, give it a thumbs up. If you think it's a bad idea, give it a thumbs down and maybe there's enough thumbs down I won't go ahead with it.

but I thought it would be nice to give some of the smaller electronics our channels some exposure on my platform. So I thought if you're a small electronics, up-and-coming electronics channel, let's just say I don't know, maybe sub 10,000 our subscribers or something like that. So many of the smaller channels a chance to get some exposure on my channel so you'll make a video. it will go on my channel We'll split the revenue.

Not that everything is much, even on a reasonably large channel like my own, but hey, it helps. Um, but more to the point. o highlight your your video will be on the Eevblog channel. full credit to you, of course your link.

Oh, and you're doing the video link to your channel everything like that and hopefully you we can a I get some content on my channel while I'm away and B it helps promote um, some other electronic channels. So there you go. Um, if you're interested in that, if you do run a small channel, then please send me an email at David II Well actually I'll link it in down below Dave I'll put plus something so I can sort them easily. Um, and there I might get a lot of requests for this.

Maybe I don't know, maybe no one's interested. That's fine. Um, but if they go over the Eevblog forum thanks to our easy 24 Clif math Matthews and Brumby who have made this list possible? look at this list. I'll link it in down below.

It is phenomenal. These are like mostly electronics related channel summit and some of them are probably more electronics related than others. but look at them. There's so many of them that we had to split it into several posts.

I'm M2z list for example it is just crazy as and the number. The number here is the number of subscribers in thousands. So the 8-bit guys got five hundred nine thousand. There's lots of big channels out there.

There's lots of, you know, little fun little ones you know that have six or a thousand subscribers and things like that and awesome. There's a ton of those channels and they're kind of the ones that I'd like to help promote. So if you make good content doesn't make, it, has to be a video that would appeal to the eevblog audience of course. Um, you should know what would appeal.
But yeah, Electro booms now up to 1.1 million. You can't beat comedy in the eyebrows, right? Anyway, Fantastic! So yeah, if you're a smaller channel I get in contact with me via the link down below and if I get inundated sorry like oh I only have like a couple of videos while I'm away. It's not like there'll be ten videos. so if I get fifty people or even a dozen people applying sorry, you know I'll only pick a few videos.

So the whole idea is you make the video up front and I'll check it out and if I like it, then it'll go on my channel with full credit to you, etc. And if I don't pick it. sorry, but hey, at least you got content for your own channel so no loss really. Anyway, if you think it's a good idea, give it a thumbs up.

I think it's a bad idea. seen having these guest videos. Give it a thumbs down. Catch you next time.

Hey Dave, I would like to make a video for this cool thing, but I have been really busy lately with college applications and such. Would it be ok to extend the deadline to January second or third?

GadgetUK164, who has about 7,7k subscribers and mostly does retro console repair/upgrade videos, may be worth asking if he'd be interested.

We just finished our Dave Jones Tribute video. It's a retro computing video called the Dave Jones 8MM EEVLog (web logs didn't exist then, so there is no "B" in the name). It's on how to make an 8-bit computer that's better than the Apple I. It's staged in early 1978 with a young Dave Jones. We visit all the usual EEVblog sets (slightly modified for the decade) and were sure to capture all his phrases. It was hard to capture his personality, but it was definitely fun to make. Hope it makes the cut!

    HEY Dave and David!!!!!

    Off Topic—

So I could not stifle my excitement, and just wanted to let you know that I just ordered a Rigol DS1054Z scope from Saelig as a Christmas gift for myself, after drooling over it for a couple years. The reviews you've done of this product were consequential in my choosing this particular scope.

Keep up the great work, guys, and have a wonderful Christmas season.
