In this video we get stranded at Northwest OHV offered park in Bridgeport, Texas when taking our 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ off road through a mud bog. We bent our drag link (center link) in half and then snapped it in two pieces when winching out of the mud.
After snapping our drop link, we spent three hours getting unstuck, needing two TJ Wranglers to make a chain to pull us out. Once unstuck, it took us multiple trips to auto zone and four more hours where we repair our snapped drag link to get out of there just before the next morning.
This definitely wasn't what we were expecting but the trail fix in general was quite fun, it was stressful though because fixing the issue was our only way home.
