This video continues our racing mini bike build series. What we do in this video is pick up this motovox mini bike that has already been swapped with a 212cc Predator Motor, but not just any 212, this bike has a tillotson 212 that is completely ready to rip!
What we do in this video is get the fully built Tillotson motor and the whole bike fully assembled and ready to rip. Then we take it out for its maiden voyage.

Hey guys race day is approaching very soon and there's a lot of work. We need to get done, but this bike is almost there. I mean this thing looks so good. It's definitely coming back to the Barracuda days.

So basically all we need to do is we need to run the chain, handlebars throttle break and then like see, but mostly we need to drive this thing and get some riding practice in before we race. This thing, oh really, before Jason races. This thing all right, so we got these um pit bike handlebars because we had them on the like Sinclair, mini bike and stuff, like that, I really liked how they look. So now we need to do is we're just gon na install them like this.

This will give it more of aggressive stance to you and so now that we got the we got the handlebars on Jason's mocking up the throttle and stuff like that. I just got this torque converter on. I did have to trim a very little bit off the bottom of the plate, just because we have some pretty tight clearances here with how we made the frame once you've really close to the Toro very, but I think it looks really good. We have two gold chain on I'm actually running that right now, okay, so a lot more progress was made.

We have to go Pyrus for premium, torque, converter plate and Turkey we're all mounted up fits in there very nicely. We're really proud of that. We have this gold chain that Koch power sport sells it's 420 chain, looks absolutely amazing. We got really lucky all right, no chains actually perfect.

It's pretty. It's well balanced right because there's not that much we're going to move the engine at all and the wheel and motor box frames are solid, so we also got the brake done, which the stock motor bucks brakes. I mean I've got disc brakes. So this thing seems more promising than the other drums you've used in the past okay, so I'm just starting in the kill switch and after that, the bikes ready to ride so we're gon na go.

Take it out we're gon na practice on dirt, since that's kind of what the tomb race will be like you, don't realize how small the bike is until I got tiny growing human gets on it. Okay, so you only need we're already be careful in there. That was frightening yeah. I think I just wasn't like it kind of just stays at one rpm and it kind of feels like it's peterhof, but I stayed on it and it got really fast like.

I can't see anything right now, so I can't shut off it, but yeah yeah iron, you hitting like top of the rev range yeah gone off before it went to top speed this thing's a little much on this dirt road with puddles at night. But in the morning definitely yeah it's pretty solid, actually yeah. I really any death wobble or anything like that. So that's cool Wow watch out Wow dang yeah.

This is really fast. It's really hard to launch like if you give it like a little bit too much throttle it just kicks up the pop, so I'm just really gon na get practice on that. Otherwise I mean it's pretty solid, that's about it! Yeah! Well, idles really high, like it's. Like I'm trying to turn around that's like trying to like wheelie, alright guys so we're out here in some undisclosed location that looks like just like apocalyptic atmosphere.
As far as you can see, it's pretty cool little spot, hopefully don't build any stuff here for a little while cuz. We really like it here of this little square. You can't tell on camera, but there's a dip down over there, so we're gon na be on the higher part here and Jason's. Just gon na do some laps on the square.

Do some test launches down the middle here and see what we can do all right? So we're gon na wrap it up just because it's like not really good conditions, you're riding this thing Jason. What do you think? I mean it's really fun really fast. We just need to get this on like a road to open it up and sometimes to see how it handles yeah, but I mean a lot is going on. We've definitely basically completed this whole, build in two weekends, just because we're really rushing to get it into a race, but now we need to do just a little bit more fine-tuning and stuff.

Like that, I mean the bike. Looks absolutely amazing. Let us know what you think of it in the comments and any recommendations or stuff to make a little more race here. They'll always be cool.

So now I'm just going to cut back to some some more footage of driving that night last night and an outro stuff like that. But bike is doing good Hey, so this build has really come a long way. It's super fast super fun. We do have a little bit of work to do, but I mean, but in one more day we'll definitely have this ready to race.

Thank you guys for watching. Thank you. Go power sports for giving us all the parts that are that made this build possible and make sure to tune in next time when we actually take this thing racing at a tomb race, you.

I would suggest racing your own minibikes or do some kind of competition between the vehicles you made.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TheShangralaaaa17 says:

Not gonna get a high top speed with that TAV. Needs a clutch like a cheetah or bully. And i still don't believe those tilly's make 10hp out the box

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dah Dah Beautiful says:

You need a wheely bar on the back to keep the monster down when you take off👍

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Old Fart's Channel says:

Whatever happened with this mini bike? Ever get it running right? I've got the same engine with a 28 degrees advance PVL flywheel .040 coil gap, an EC Carburetor's Bonsai .265 cam, ARC rod, NR Racing straight back header, and the Tillotson TCT carb ungoverned on a Coleman EX/30 series tav and it's a beast until it runs out of carb, which is also about where I run out of nerve at 42 mph. I ain't as young as you whippersnappers.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Old Fart's Channel says:

What was your coil gap set at? ARC flywheels have a minimum gap of .030. Any less and those magnets fry coils.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars rdooski says:

I have the same frame and it looks like it would be easy to move the rear wheel mounting holes back about 4 inches just by welding some small plates on to the back of the frame. And relocating the brake mounting holes. I've figured out a way to pull it off with no welding actually(dont have a welder).

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sam’s Garage says:

That would make a good race for my little dune buggy.nice mini bike

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jason Daniel says:

Dont know why I just realized your name's are Jason and Daniel lmao my name is Jason Daniel

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars joe shmo says:

Stretch it 6 inches or put a wheelie bar so you can do violent launches without looping it

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars hello hun says:

How fast can we go on a dirt road in the dark? Ordinarily you guys are pretty sharp.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BighomieJ5x - says:

Have u guys thought about a smaller sprocket on the back wheel and possibly a wheelie bar ..that carb needs a lil tuning I believe.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars furry gamer says:

So I live on a super long paved road and I would fly down that road on that it would be awsom

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Francisco Nuñez says:

How the heck you can drive in the middle of the night without lights?

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BJ Jongejan says:

You guys need to move the foot pegs back and also change the spring on the pully of the torque converter to make it engage at a higher rpm, that will make it easier to launch.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Frank Fitzpatrick says:

If someone s thinking of getting a Predator because there $100
    then spend hundreds
to build a RACE engine .
Spend a little more and get a Tillotson 212"R"
Its a bespoke RACE ENGINE right out of the box & with some choice mods .
There bullitproof & can handle much more power
    with mods !

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Funner Than Before says:

Sounds like the coil could be mis firing…. Anyone else hear it?

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ronny holthuijsen says:

Stretch out the back site so iT Will Be harder to wheelie or just install a wheelie bar

Dr.D sunny Canada 61 f if one rides at night lights??? and protective coverings, and foot wear play safe and have fun. Ps. not real doctor

Extend the back forks about a foot..And It really missfires a lot!

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ENGINES N WHEELS says:

Wheelie bar and learn to transfer riders weight as far forward as possible to get good hard launch's with a cvt drive.

Is it just me or do their racing stripes look like the martini racing colors and design.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars G- man says:

With the power that mini bike has, you need to build a removable wheelie bar using small go kart wheel. That way when you drag race you won't over on the bike. Great mini bike guys. Keep up the good work!

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Coley says:

Is the mikuni tuned correctly? Sounds like a lot of popping going on especially on the top end

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Justin Haley says:

Move the footpegs back to gain more balance and to make it a little easier to ride. Think of more a sport bike feel

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brandon Lukemyres says:

Cut the back and pull the rear wheel farther back so you won't loop out as easy

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Remnant D says:

Sounds good, but wow the jetting doesn't sound so Bueno….

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars dan marshall says:

Guys, looks ready to race to me!😀😀. Tell us more about this race!

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Gallagher says:

    So here’s the update:
Now we’re done with the race bike vids and we haven’t even started building the rotary kart frame yet because we just got it running last weekend. So while we build that we are going to be posting the turbo kart phase 2 vids (engine build, efi install, dyno pt 2). Then we should be done with the rotary shifter and can post those! Stay tuned, these next few weeks are going to be exciting!
