Done.
A big nut in the middle ??? no comment
that i river display port is compatible with some single board computers.
its a great display just small, sadly no longer made so dead i rivers are the only source.
That RF boards in the pilots propably are off-the-shelf, one is nrf24l01 used in many projects like Arduino.
Don't listen to the grumpy commenters Dave, Sagan is a cute kid. Smart too. 👍😺
No, the B-52 does not use that astro compass anymore. They've all been modernized. Otherwise, you'd be in possession of classified technology. Even the analog targeting computers from a WW1/WW2 battleships are classified. The ones converted to a museum have the guts of those things removed. That's a bit sad; mechanical computers are a lost art these days.
RFT ist an former GDR brand and means Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik.
Greetings from germany.
Why does Sagan sound like he has just got off the plane from East London? lol
Oh my, I had one of those Realistic radios back in the day (with crystals for all three channel slots!) I recall it having pretty impressive range. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever got rid of it… maybe I still have it! hehe
I have no idea about any of this stuff but this is the most hilarious channel I've seen on Youtube…..
Hafb is hill Air Force base in Roy utah
I still use an Iriver player! I have the Spinn. Bought it back in 08/09 and its still going strong today with no issues.
You definetly look like Sheen Estevez from jimmy neutron
Hello, this may be off topic, but has anyone heard of a Spin Capacitor ?
DNT GMBH also make walkie Talkies which use a synthesizer for channel generation.
Cute kid! 🙂 Can I ask where the name Sagan came from, because I've never heard it before!
Well 10000 Mark was a very reasonable price so not everybody could affort this puppy. I think my parents earned about 300-400 Mark back in the days, so my father bought a cheaper russian oscilloscope which is a lot crappier 😉 maybe we send it to your for mailbag 🙂
You could buy a Trabant (east german car) for 10000 (eastern) Mark. Well, at least you could order one because you had to wait for sometimes more than a decade to get it delivered.
The boy will be a fully educated engineer when he's 10. Or even sooner.
But you should not always take anything off his hands. Let him think and try things himself, Dave.
Could be that you do this to keep the videos short, but yes, i think you know what i mean.
Looking forward to have a child myself and teaching him/ her stuff.
What about a Saigon (or Sagan) doing a teardown video all by himself? I think people would love it.
Sorry bout the name, i am from Germany and it's not a common name here.
Children are surely fun
Sagan's cute, Just a bit grabby lol.
I'd love the oscilloscope but I'm in California 😭😫
Blew my mind when you started transmitting AM over your cables! I really liked how the Realistic cutoff the frequencies higher than 4 kHz due to them being above the normal vocal frequency range for communications. Made me want to try it and we have a vintage radio that was restored by some local Amateur radio friends of ours. That old radio might come in handy for this, though it'll be weird using an AWG with a classic old 20's radio
I live in Melbourne and I like your oscilloscope
iriver sold to SK Telecom in Korea in 2014 🙂
Sagan is absolutely adorable, and very smart too.
Your son looks just like you Dave.
